Smita is fuming. The family’s on edge. And one name is on everyone’s lips: Raunak. Smita corners Harsh and demands answers. Where is Raunak? What is he up to? Harsh calmly spills the beans—Raunak has gone to stop Prarthna’s wedding with Bhavesh. And not just stop it—he’s standing at the mandap with her.
This revelation hits Payal’s dad like a punch to the gut. Furious and humiliated, he sends his men charging toward the venue, determined to drag Raunak back before more chaos erupts. But it’s already too late.
Raunak and Prarthna are deep into wedding rituals, guided by a Pandit who blesses their Kumkum Bhagya. In the flickering firelight, Raunak recalls every moment he shared with Prarthna. The laughs, the tears, the unspoken love. A wave of regret crashes over him—why did it take him so long to understand what she truly meant to him?
While sparks fly at the mandap, Bhavesh is locked up like yesterday’s secret. Tied and stashed inside a cupboard, he slowly regains consciousness, only to remember Raunak knocking him out cold. Mayank, hearing the commotion, checks the cupboard. But Bhavesh, sneaky as ever, plays it smart—pretends to be weak and then flips the script. He overpowers Mayank and locks him up instead.
Bhavesh suits up and bolts toward the mandap like a man on a mission. Meanwhile, Mayank breaks free and races behind him—one to stop a wedding, the other to save it.
Back at home, Smita grills Harsh and Kinjal again. She’s livid to find Harsh in Raunak’s place. Questions fly, tempers flare. Even Baa steps in, demanding they find Raunak before things spiral even further out of control.
But here’s the burning question—Is it too late? Has Raunak already sealed the deal with sindoor and vows? Or will Bhavesh arrive just in time to snatch back his bride?

Kumkum Bhagya 16th April 2025 Written Update: Raunak Marries Prarthna
Payal blames Harsh for cheating her. She rebukes him. Kanti, Satish, and others also accuse Harsh. Baa and Kinjal ask them to let Harsh speak. Payal’s dad confronts Kanti and asks where Raunak is. He says that Harsh was secretly marrying Payal. He gets angered. Harsh begins to defend himself. He asks them to listen to him once and then punish him if they want. He says that it was Raunak’s idea,
Raunak asked him to sit in the mandap till he comes back. Smita asks where is Raunak. He says that Raunak has gone to stop Prarthna’s marriage. Payal gets worried that she didn’t take Bhavesh’s calls. Smita asks why Raunak wants to stop Prarthna’s marriage. Harsh tells that Bhavesh isn’t a nice guy, Raunak learnt Bhavesh’s truth and rushed to save Prarthna’s life. He adds that Bhavesh is already married, he is characterless, and he has been fooling them. He says that Prarthna is innocent and always keeps relationships.
He adds that Prarthna was facing a huge injustice. He feels indebted to Prarthna, who did a lot for them. Payal’s dad asks his men to go and get Raunak from Prarthna’s mandap. He wants Raunak to come back and marry Payal. He scolds Raunak’s family. Bhavesh speaks to his friends on the phone. Mayank attacks him. He snatches his phone. He beats Bhavesh and takes him back to the room.
The men sent by Payal’s dad come there and ask about Raunak. Bhavesh’s friends think of calling some goons and facing them. They get mistaken. They don’t want Bhavesh’s marriage to stop. Raunak worries that Prarthna might never love him. He doesn’t care. He wants to save her life. He wishes she forgives him. He remembers Mayank’s words.
He plans to tell Prarthna that he is marrying her. He doesn’t want to cheat her. He tries to hold her hand and give her a hint. Prarthna gets away and refuses to talk to Bhavesh. The men, Shakti and Suraj, walk to the mandap and look for Raunak. They don’t realize that Raunak is the groom. They go ahead and see Mayank beating Bhavesh. They ask about Raunak. Mayank asks why they are finding Raunak. Bhavesh tells that Raunak is sitting as the groom in the mandap.
Shakti and Suraj run to stop the marriage. Bhavesh and Mayank are clueless. He calls Payal to know what she wants to do. Payal is angered that Raunak left her for Prarthna. She tells her dad that Raunak loves Prarthna. He asks her why she planned to get Prarthna married to Bhavesh. He scolds her. He promises to bring the world’s happiness to her. He tells her that she will be happy only with Raunak, she has sacrificed her love for Rocky, and she will succeed. She gets Bhavesh’s call.
He asks her what’s going on. He tells her what Raunak did to him. He reveals that Raunak is marrying Prarthna. She asks him to stop the marriage at any cost, else she will kill him. Shakti and Suraj reach the mandap to stop Raunak. Bhavesh’s friends misunderstand them and catch them. They ask the pandit to hurry up with the marriage rituals. Kishan asks what’s happening. Sanjay says that they are Raunak’s men. Raunak asks Pandit to get the rounds done.
Prarthna hears his voice and gets confused. Payal’s mum angers Smita by provoking her against Prarthna. She defends Bhavesh. Smita falls in her words. Shubhvi says that Prarthna might have called Raunak there. Smita fumes. She says that Raunak will get married only to Payal. She doesn’t want to go to Prarthna’s house. She says that she will punish Prarthna for her mistakes.
Bhavesh comes in front of the family. Everyone is puzzled. Seema asks who the groom is in the mandap. They are shocked when Bhavesh exposes Raunak. Raunak removes his sehra and faces Prarthna. Prarthna is shocked and weeps.
