So, the episode kicks off with Ranbir doing what he does best—playing detective. He looks Adrija straight in the eyes and asks if she knows the delivery guy. And oh, look at her, playing the damsel in distress. “Who, me? Nooo, I don’t know him!” Girl, you need an Oscar. Too bad the delivery guy didn’t get the memo—he spills the tea and says she’s the one who took the lab report from him.
Now Adrija, instead of retreating, decides to go full gaslight mode and accuses Ranbir of setting a trap. Cute. But Ranbir shuts that down real quick with receipts—literally. He shows her signature from the office file and asks her if it’s hers. And what does our Miss Denial do? Denies again. Of course. At this point, she’s clinging to her lies like they’re life jackets on the Titanic.
Ranbir, unfazed, tells the whole family that he already spoke to the doctor and had the same samples tested again. He hands Adrija the fresh report and asks her to read it herself. She does—and bam! It confirms the juice was laced with something deadly. Meghla? She breaks down. The rest of the family is stunned. And Adrija? Still trying to act like the misunderstood villain in a daily soap.
But Ranbir isn’t done. Oh no. He brings out his final trump card—the fake delivery guy, who spills everything about how Adrija paid him off. At this point, if Adrija had a trapdoor under her feet, she’d dive into it herself. The guy exits stage left, leaving behind shattered trust and a whole room full of disappointed relatives.
Meghla finally confronts Adrija and calls her out, and for once, Adrija can’t spin it. Silent and exposed. Zoravar and Meher just stand there, looking like they downloaded a virus by trusting the wrong file. Ranbir announces he’s calling the police, but Meghla, proving she’s got more compassion than most, stops him. She says Adrija doesn’t need jail—she needs psychiatric help. Oof. That’s both savage and sympathetic.
Adrija begs Meghla to believe her. Says she didn’t want to kill her. But Meghla? Done. She tells her former sister-in-law that she’s lost the family’s love, and honestly, it might be the one time silence hurt more than screaming. Adrija finally crumbles, and for once, the tears aren’t part of her act.
