Kumkum Bhagya 20th April 2025 Written Update: Purvi’s Claim. Kumkum Bhagya today was all about Purvi channeling her inner Maa Kaali and Bhavesh learning the hard way not to mess with a fired-up mom.
Purvi storms in like a one-woman army, shutting down Bhavesh and his creepy gang. She doesn’t just warn them — she straight-up reminds them that when evil crosses the line, Maa Kaali herself shows up. And well, today, she was that storm.
In a heroic move, Purvi rescues Prarthna from Bhavesh’s clutches. Not just that — they also rush a badly injured Raunak to the hospital because clearly, the universe decided it was time for a multi-crisis episode.
But wait, the drama doesn’t stop there. Smita, being her usual bitter self, decides to insult Prarthna. Just when you think Purvi might hold back, she flips the narrative and defends her fiercely. Then comes the mic drop moment: Purvi declares that Prarthna is none other than her daughter, Pragya Malhotra.

Purvi gets restless after hearing Prarthna’s scream. She tries to open the handcuff. Bhavesh asks Prarthna to get up; he won’t let her leave, or else he will kill her. She asks him to spare her. He forces her to marry him. The inspector enters the place and threatens Bhavesh and his friends. She asks Prarthna to come to her. Prarthna crawls to reach the inspector. Bhavesh hits the inspector’s hand and makes her drop the gun. He shoots the inspector down. Purvi tries to free herself and cries in pain. Smita asks Kishan and Seema about Raunak. She lectures them in an insulting way.
Kishan sings praises of Raunak. Smita’s taunts provoke Seema. Seema asks her to stop it. She says that Prarthna is the root of all the problems. She tells them everything about Payal bribing her to get Prarthna married to Bhavesh. She adds that Raunak has come to their place and sat in the mandap. She blames Raunak and Prarthna. Shubhvi asks her to mind her tongue. She scolds Seema for blaming them for her evil deeds and greed. Seema blurts the truth that Prarthna isn’t her daughter.
The Zaveris are shocked. Prarthna refuses to marry Bhavesh. Purvi enters the place and scolds Bhavesh. She takes Prarthna with her and consoles her. She embraces Prarthna. She picks a firetorch and scares Bhavesh. She delivers some heavy dialogues. Bhavesh asks who Purvi is. Purvi tells that she is Prarthna’s mum and she has come as Maa Kaali to kill him. Bhavesh asks his friends to clap for her dialogue. He says that he will shoot her if she dares to come between. Purvi tells that she will not let him marry Prarthna.
She wants Prarthna to marry Raunak. He says that he has already shot the inspector and he will shoot Purvi next. Prarthna gets worried for Purvi. She asks Bhavesh not to shoot Purvi. Purvi scolds Bhavesh. Bhavesh gets scared and thinks if any Devimaa has come for real. He gets Payal’s call. Payal asks him if he has married Prarthna. He says no. She asks him to kill Prarthna. She doesn’t want Raunak to marry Prarthna. She doubles the amount and asks him to kill Prarthna. He agrees. Purvi asks Prarthna to run.
The pandit also protects Prarthna. Purvi attends to the inspector and takes her. Bhavesh’s friends beat the pandit. The inspector asks Purvi not to run away. Bhavesh catches Prarthna and throws her into the well to kill her. Raunak reaches there and jumps into the well. He saves Prarthna. Seema tells Smita that Prarthna isn’t her daughter. She doesn’t want Smita to taunt her.
Kishan shouts at Seema and raises his hand. Seema asks him to slap her. Baa stops Kishan. He apologizes. He asks Seema not to speak against Prarthna. Seema insults Prarthna and swears to end ties with her. The Zaveri family witnesses the drama. Seema asks Zaveris to do anything with Prarthna. Kishan defends Prarthna, who is purer than Gangajal. Smita asks Kishan to solve his family problems. She wants to know where Raunak is. She asks him to call Prarthna and find out.
Kishan tells Smita that Prarthna has taken Raunak to the hospital. Mayank reaches there. Bhavesh asks his friends to kill Raunak and Prarthna. Bhavesh’s friends hit stones at Raunak and Prarthna. Purvi stops the goons. Bhavesh threatens Purvi. Gayatri comes there. Purvi signs her to call the police. Gayatri calls the police. Bhavesh and his friends flee when the police come. Purvi throws a rope and rescues Raunak and Prarthna. She says that they will take them to the hospital. She rushes to get the jeep.
