YRKKH 20th April 2025 Written Update: Festival of Emotions. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, Abhira’s Stand, Ruhi’s Struggle, and a Festival of Emotions. Abhira assures Manish that the Poddars will definitely show up for the celebration. Kaveri, never missing a chance to rain on the parade, questions Abhira’s authority—asking who gave her the right to speak for everyone. She reminds the room (again) that Rohit’s gone, as if anyone could forget. Manish, with his usual calm, acknowledges their grief and emotions. Vidya steps in and agrees to attend the function. Manish, still trying to keep the family vibe alive, says he’ll wait for them and even invites Ruhi. But Ruhi, drowning in her feelings, flat-out refuses. When Abhira tries to follow her, Kaveri blocks her like a dramatic soap villain and says Ruhi needs space to wallow alone.

Abhira later finds Ruhi. Trying to help, she tells Ruhi she’s already prepped milk for Daksh, who’s peacefully snoozing. But Ruhi insists she go to work—as if being left alone will magically fix things.

At the office, Armaan and Abhira attend a meeting. Armaan suddenly notices something’s off—Abhira is wearing a fake baby bump. Shocked, he asks what’s going on. Abhira, all serious, says she’s trying to experience pregnancy to better understand what Ruhi’s going through. Armaan doesn’t argue much, just tells her to tell him if it starts to hurt—classic “choose your battles” strategy.

Back at the Poddar mansion, Ruhi is still in emotional free fall. Kaveri, with her usual flair for guilt-tripping, tells Ruhi people will judge her. Ruhi, for once sounding mature, says she doesn’t want her sadness to steal happiness from others.

Meanwhile, Abhira goes looking for Armaan and learns he’s gone with Manoj for another meeting. Just then, she sees Krish looking like he’s about to faint from stress. Turns out, he’s worried about someone setting him up in a false case. Instead of spiraling, he actually asks Sanjay for help. Abhira senses something’s off and decides to confront him—but before she can get into full detective mode, Kiara calls her in a panic.

Kiara’s got problems of her own. Manish has trusted her with handling Sita Navami preparations—and she’s already overwhelmed. She complains that Abhir is no help and has no clue what to do. Abhira jumps in and scolds Abhir, who, of course, couldn’t care less. But when she starts talking about love, both Kiara and Abhir squirm like middle-schoolers at a sex-ed class.

Over in Ruhi’s corner of the pity palace, she’s upset that none of her dresses fit anymore. Enter Armaan, the unofficial knight in shining armor, holding new maternity dresses like a fashion-forward genie. Ruhi watches him and wonders if he’s actually… the one?

Then there’s Abhira again—clearly overdoing her pregnancy experiment. She starts feeling pain. Armaan tells her to ditch the bump, but she’s stubborn. So, he gives her a gentle massage (yes, seriously), and they sit together, waiting for their imaginary baby. Later, he and little Daksh get all dressed up for the celebration. Abhira asks him to go to Manish’s place and says she’ll bring Ruhi along.

But Ruhi? Still not budging. Abhira gently asks if she’s afraid of being judged. Ruhi says that destiny just never sides with her, and tells Abhira to go ahead. She might show up… if her mood swings allow. At the Goenka house, the Poddars get a warm welcome. Manish asks about Abhira and Ruhi, but Kaveri, clinging to her philosophy, says Ruhi needs to handle her heartbreak solo.
