Jhanak 20th April 2025 Written Update: Blessings, Betrayals & Blushes

Jhanak 20th April 2025 Written Update: Blessings, Betrayals & Blushes: Jhanak’s Big Day Faces Family Fireworks. The episode kicks off with Bablu trying to knock some sense into Appu. She’s talking about dying again, and he’s clearly done hearing it. He tells her to stop being so dramatic and promises she’s not going anywhere. Appu insists she’s not trying to die, but she feels like her time is up—classic emotional flair. Lalon steps in, probably wondering if she’s been binge-watching tragic TV shows, and tells her to cut it out. They leave before the scene turns into a full soap opera.

Next day, Mimi is busy playing fairy godmother, helping Jhanak get ready. She beams with excitement, saying Jhanak’s dream is finally coming true. But Jhanak bursts the bubble real quick—turns out this fairy tale wasn’t her dream at all. She never wanted to break a family. But then again, if she didn’t love Anirudh, she wouldn’t have agreed to the marriage, would she? Mimi, ever the cheerleader, says love isn’t a crime. She also mentions how she postponed her own wedding for Anirban because she’s madly in love and bound by his parents’ weird conditions.

Meanwhile at the heartbreak hotel, Siddharth is playing the doting partner, bringing juice and breakfast to Arshi. But Arshi’s got her detective mode on. She picks up Bipasha’s call and finds out about Anirudh and Jhanak’s aashirwad ceremony. Bipasha, as usual, is full of unsolicited advice. She wants Arshi to bounce back with style—marry Siddharth, smile at the camera, and make Anirudh regret everything. Basically, Bipasha’s serving full Bollywood villain energy. Arshi agrees, still fuming at Anirudh’s betrayal. When the call ends, she turns to Siddharth and sweetly says, “No one takes care of me like you do.” Cue the classic rebound romance.

Cut to Jhanak, still trying to win over the in-laws. She tells Mimi that Shubh has mellowed a little. She’s confident she’ll win his heart eventually. Mimi, sipping her tea and wisdom, warns her that in the process, she might lose others. Jhanak shrugs it off—people change, right? Mimi calls her extra pretty today and plans to drag Anirudh in to prove her point. Jhanak, now blushing like a schoolgirl, tells her to stop. Mimi reflects on how Anirudh used to be a different guy until Arshi came along with her love-from-Excel-sheet approach.

Then comes a twist—Jhanak actually defends Arshi. She says Arshi’s love language was just… different. Maybe more controlling, a bit dramatic, but not without heart. Mimi’s baffled. Jhanak admits she never wanted to come between them but feels like fate dragged her in. And yes, she’s scared of losing Anirudh, but who isn’t scared when love is on the line?

Anirudh walks in, pretending to look for Choton. Mimi doesn’t buy it—she knows he’s there for a sneak peek at the bride. She leaves them alone with a wink. Anirudh tells Jhanak that they’re finally getting married, and being around her gives him this weird energy boost. Jhanak tells him to go, probably to save her from melting right there. Mimi pops back in, teasing Anirudh till he makes a quick exit. She’s genuinely happy for the couple and it shows.

Amitabh comes in, blesses the couple, and hands over a gift. Jhanak gets emotional, like she’s finally being seen. Bablu, not one to tiptoe around, asks if Dadi’s going to bless them. Dadi throws shade by saying Amitabh’s blessing is enough. Anirudh claps back—don’t bless us if it’s not from the heart. Jhanak still wants her blessings because, well, values. Appu pipes up asking why Dadi can’t just bless Jhanak and is promptly told to chill out. Appu insists she’s fine, which for her is probably the calmest she’s been all week.

Then comes Mrinalini, ever the mediator, asking Bablu and Anjana to bless the couple, which they do. Bablu takes it up a notch and asks if Shubh will step up too. Shubh flat-out says nope—he doesn’t accept Jhanak as his daughter-in-law. Classic cold shoulder. Mimi questions if he’ll ever change, and Rimi jumps in to shut her down. Anirudh, already fed up, tells Rimi to leave if she can’t show respect. Mimi follows suit and tells the whole judgmental squad to take a walk. Choton, the peacekeeper, steps in with Mrinalini to bless the couple and keep things civil. Laal offers Jhanak some final advice—forget the past and focus on being happy. Bablu tries to rope in Bipasha, but Laal blocks her entry like a bouncer at a club, saying they’re done.

Jhanak 20th April 2025 Written Update Precap:

Anirudh is stressed—Arshi’s not picking up her phone, and it’s D-Day for the divorce. Siddharth lies smoothly, saying Arshi’s down with a fever and can’t make it to court. Anirudh, clearly heartbroken and a little naïve still, feels let down again. Poor guy never learns.
