Jagriti 22nd April 2025 Written Update: Kalikant’s Crime. Today in Jagriti written update, Akash goes looking for answers. Jagriti arrives and, with calm honesty, explains her silence. She doesn’t beg for love—just offers her friendship if Akash agrees to two things: help her fight for the Chitta community’s justice and accept Sapna as his rightful wife. Oh, and she wants Suraj to be part of the mission too—because he’s changed. Or so she believes.
Meanwhile, Sapna’s down with a fever. Akash tends to her, maybe as a sign of him beginning to accept the new reality Jagriti has laid before him.
Later, Jagriti finds a glass of dragon fruit juice waiting for her—courtesy of Ghungroo, who also invited her to his birthday bash. Suraj joins in the banter, and all seems light… until he tries calling Ghungroo and finds his phone unreachable.
Cut to Kalikant—who’s still out for blood, literally. In a spine-chilling moment, he executes his own guard for letting strangers crash the auction. And just then, Ghungroo walks in. Wrong place, wrong time. Kalikant doesn’t flinch. Another bullet, another body.
Suraj and Jagriti rush to Ghungroo’s place, only to be greeted by blood stains—confirming their worst fears.
And just when you think it can’t get more intense…
🔴 Kalikant’s cruelty peaks:
Suraj meets Ghungroo earlier and assures him that he’ll talk to Kalikant and get him released. But fate has other plans. Right before their eyes, Kalikant and his men capture Ghungroo. Without a shred of mercy, Kalikant shoots him dead. Suraj, unable to hold back, lets out a heart-wrenching scream. Jagriti quickly silences him—if Kalikant hears, they’ll be next.
The moment shatters Suraj. Watching his own father kill so coldly breaks something inside him.

Suraj and Jagriti come to Ghungroo’s house and look for him. They find the house messed up. They look for Ghungroo. They get shocked seeing the blood on the floor. Suraj cries for Ghungroo. They follow the blood trail. She asks him to call Ghungroo’s parents and find out where he is. Sapna thanks Akash and hugs him. She is glad that he cares for her. Bindi is in the jungle area to pick some wood.
She sees Ghungroo being taken to a hut. The goons drag Ghungroo. Bindi recalls Ghungroo and wonders who the goons are. The goons beat up Ghungroo. Suraj calls many friends to find out about Ghungroo. He says that no one can dare to harm Ghungroo. He suspects Jagriti and asks her if she has done this. She understands his worry. She asks him to understand, for once, she is against his dad and his illegal business, not against Ghungroo. She adds that she worries for Ghungroo.
She assures that they will find Ghungroo. She gets Bindi’s call. Suraj and Jagriti rush to the jungle and meet Bindi. They ask about Ghungroo. Bindi tells that Ghungroo is kept captive at the hut. Suraj asks Jagriti to stay back, and he will go and find out. Suraj asks the goons why they kept Ghungroo captive. They say that it’s Kalikant’s order. Suraj says that he wants to meet Ghungroo.
He goes inside and meets Ghungroo. He unties Ghungroo and asks him what’s the matter. Ghungroo says that he is scared. Suraj asks him not to feel scared. Ghungroo tells him everything. Suraj is shocked. Sapna tells Akash that she loves him and expects him to love her too. She insists he check the videos she has shot during their college days. He asks her to let him drive. She doesn’t listen.
Akash knocks down a lady and a baby by mistake. He is shell-shocked when a major accident is caused. Suraj defends Kalikant and asks Ghungroo not to worry. He frees Ghungroo. He scolds the goon. The goon tells that Suraj can’t take Ghungroo along. Ghungroo asks Suraj to wish him a birthday. He feels he won’t be left alive. Suraj says that he will talk to his dad and free Ghungroo soon.
Suraj hugs Ghungroo. He leaves the hut and goes to Jagriti. Jagriti asks him if Ghungroo is fine. Akash checks the lady. Sapna takes the baby. Akash tells that the lady is alive. He says that he will take her to the hospital. The villagers catch Akash and beat him up for killing the lady. Akash tells that it’s an accident, she is alive, and it’s important to save her. He asks them to help her. Suraj tells the matter to Jagriti. He tells her that he will talk to Kalikant about Ghungroo. He goes to Kalikant.
Kalikant asks about the matter. Suraj asks why he kept Ghungroo captive. Kalikant lies to him. He asks if he did anything wrong. Suraj says that Kalikant can’t do anything wrong. Kalikant tells that Ghungroo has witnessed this crime. Suraj says that he will explain the truth to Ghungroo. Kalikant tells that he knows it already. He adds that he is just scaring Ghungroo; he will keep Ghungroo captive for a night and then release him tomorrow. Suraj agrees. He goes to Jagriti. He tells her what Kalikant told him.
Akash gets the lady treated. He is relieved that she is out of danger. He thinks where did Sapna go with the baby. He calls Sapna. Jagriti asks Suraj not to trust his dad, it’s about Ghungroo‘s life. He says that nothing will happen to Ghungroo. She asks him to understand the threat. He says that he is more worried about Jagriti. She cries thinking of Ghungroo. She doesn’t think they should take a chance.
She decides to go and save Ghungroo. Akash worries when Sapna doesn’t answer his call. Sapna comes to the hospital and meets Akash. Akash tells her that the lady is fine. He asks about the baby. Sapna cries and embraces him. She says that the baby is no more; the doctors couldn’t save him. Akash is stunned. She says that she took the baby to the hospital, but the baby couldn’t survive. Akash falls breathless and recalls the accident. He feels guilty. She says that she has handled everything.
Akash says that nothing will be fine. Sapna consoles him. Jagriti makes a plan to distract the goons. She runs inside the hut and frees Ghungroo. Ghungroo says that Suraj asked him to wait. Suraj reaches there and finds Jagriti freeing Ghungroo.
He asks Ghungroo if he doesn’t believe him. She says that they will take Ghungroo to SP Kalpana and save his life. Suraj says that he will not let anything happen to Ghungroo. He promises Ghungroo. He asks him to stay back for one night. Jagriti asks Ghungroo not to listen to Suraj. She worries for Ghungroo.
