YRKKH 22nd April 2025 Written Update: Ruhi’s feelings. In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, Ruhi, in yet another episode of “I’ll make this about me,” tries to wear bangles that clearly don’t fit. They get stuck (shocker), and she calls herself a fool—finally, some self-awareness. As she struggles, she remembers Abhira’s kind words about deserving happiness. Cue Armaan and Daksh walking in like surprise guests at a pity party. Armaan mentions Abhira would’ve helped, and while trying to assist, he accidentally slips the bangles on for her. Smooth move, Romeo.
Ruhi, sensing a golden opportunity, asks Armaan why he defended her publicly. Armaan drops the “I made a promise to Rohit” card and says she deserves to be happy. He reassures her that she and Daksh won’t be left hanging. Ruhi, fully in her main character energy, starts thinking maybe Armaan is the one she should move on with. Bold of her to assume she gets a say in that.
Meanwhile, Kiara is busy scripting her own teenage rom-com. She tells Samrat to make Abhir jealous. Samrat, who thinks he’s God’s gift to women, says Abhir doesn’t even care. So Kiara decides to fake-date him and even pays him for it. Samrat, thinking he’s outsmarted everyone, smirks. Honestly, buddy, that paycheck isn’t worth the cringe.
Abhira has a moment with Vidya, who wonders what will happen if Pookie starts loving Ruhi more. Abhira’s not bothered. She says Pookie will get double the love, but draws a clear line—everything can be shared with Ruhi except Armaan. That’s the boundary, period.
Ruhi, still basking in Armaan’s attention, feels he’s the only one who truly cares. Across the house, Abhira overhears Krish begging Sanjay for help. Manish, ever the mood manager, calls everyone to dance. Abhira initially declines, pointing at Ruhi’s wallflower act. Armaan pulls her in, and soon the dance floor’s lit. Charu tells Ruhi to join. Ruhi agrees—but only if she dances with Armaan. Because of course.
The trio dances. Ruhi catches feelings and side-eyes Abhira like it’s a sport. Aryan whisks Abhira away, giving Ruhi more reasons to daydream about Armaan never leaving her side. She’s in her happy bubble… until Abhira brings up Krish. Ruhi crashes the conversation and teaches Daksh to call Armaan “father,” as if that’s going to seal the deal. Girl, relax.
Seeing Abhira and Armaan together again, Ruhi pops in like an ad you didn’t ask for and tells Abhira to babysit Daksh. Abhira manages to tell Armaan about Krish’s mess. Ruhi then whisks Armaan off for a toy store run, offering to handle Daksh and Pookie. Armaan, ever the diplomat, tells her not to worry—he and Abhira will take care of things. Ruhi’s jealousy levels hit the roof.
Back at the office, cops show up for Krish. Sanjay lies like it’s his job, saying Krish is abroad. Abhira, suspicious as always, overhears Krish begging not to be jailed. She tries calling Armaan, but guess who cuts the call? Ruhi, of course. Because boundaries? Never heard of them.
