YRKKH 24th April 2025 Written Update: Family Clashes. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, Ruhi is clearly in her sneaky era—she asks the toy shopkeeper to send CCTV footage to Daksh and Armaan, unaware that Abhira’s ears work just fine. Abhira catches on, and Ruhi pulls a classic excuse-from-thin-air moment. Trying to be the peacemaker, Abhira offers her some soup like a caring roommate from a ’90s soap. Ruhi acts like soup is an insult and rejects it outright. When Abhira offers to make anything she likes, Ruhi challenges her by asking for pani puri—probably thinking she won’t go through with it. Spoiler alert: she does.
Then comes the twist. Ruhi wants to go out with Armaan. Abhira’s brain hits a buffer, but Ruhi clarifies—this outing is just a decoy so Abhira can get some alone time with Rohit, away from Sanjay’s constant hovering. Smart move, Ruhi, we’ll give you that. Abhira agrees and plans to talk to Krish later before whisking Ruhi off for some street food therapy. Meanwhile, Abhir gets the cold shoulder from Kiara, who clearly has her own personal snowstorm going on.
Back at the house, Ruhi sees that Abhira has already made the pani puri—and instead of being grateful, she flat-out refuses to eat it. Girl, make it make sense. Poor Abhira looks stunned like she just got ghosted at a food stall. Aryan casually walks in and complains he already ordered a paneer roll, which Ruhi then decides to munch on. Abhira tries to stop her, but Ruhi turns into her spicy version. When asked if she’s upset, Ruhi responds with peak drama, and it all spills—she misses Rohit and no matter what Abhira does, she can’t fill that void.
Abhira, trying not to crumble, tells Ruhi she deserves a new start and even hints at finding a new life partner. Ruhi brings up Armaan—because who else, right? But then the bomb drops: Armaan’s upset with Abhira for hiding the fact that Daksh once called him “father.” Trust issues are officially back in stock.
Elsewhere, Abhir confronts Kiara for not spilling the beans to the family. Kiara, cool as a cucumber, says it wouldn’t have helped. Abhir is over the undercover romance with Charu and drops the divorce card. Kiara? Totally blindsided.
Later, Ruhi waits for Armaan like it’s a rom-com climax. He shows up… with Abhira. Ruhi’s excitement crashes harder than her heels. Abhira apologizes, and Armaan—caught between his brooding hero act and moral compass—asks her to get up. Ruhi, watching their intense exchange, concludes what we’ve all been lowkey thinking: these two argue more than a reality TV couple and might just be a walking red flag duo.
Abhira decides to send Daksh over to Manish’s house (someone please give this woman a break!). Meanwhile, Ruhi wants to impress Armaan so bad she even tortures herself with heels. Armaan isn’t impressed. He scolds her for being careless and reminds her how much Abhira has been sacrificing. And just like that, Ruhi’s frustration doubles and gets redirected at Abhira. Again.
As for the grown-ups in the room? Manoj questions Sanjay about assigning Krish the case. Sanjay confirms, all proud. Manoj accuses him of training Krish to win by hook or crook. So basically, the family drama now comes with a courtroom spinoff.
