The episode opens on a tense note, with Omi thinking about calling Bhushan to find out what’s going on. But Sonali, being the voice of reason, tells him to hold off — after all, Teju is already on her way to meet Neil, and maybe it’s better not to panic further. Mukta, however, can’t shake off her worries. Her mind runs wild with guilt, questioning if she made a mistake marrying Teju off to Neil. The misunderstandings between them seem endless, like a storm that never calms. Lakshmi, ever the optimist, steps in, suggesting maybe — just maybe — this problem is what will finally bring Teju and Neil closer. Mukta clings to that hope, even though her heart is heavy.
At Neil’s home, things aren’t much better. Leena, lost in her sorrow, calls Teju inauspicious and cries for her son. The family tries to soothe her, but the hurt hangs in the air like a thick fog.
Meanwhile, Teju is racing against time. She urges her driver to go faster, anxiety bubbling inside her. Her phone buzzes — it’s Aditi. She doesn’t waste time pointing fingers, implying that if Neil had just stayed home, none of this would’ve happened. Teju’s heart breaks a little more. She asks Aditi straight up if she also blames her. Aditi backs off, saying she’s just worried. Amidst the chaos, Teju reveals a raw truth: she may not love her marriage, but she doesn’t want anyone to suffer because of it. She promises to stand by Neil no matter what. Aditi, softening, tells her to take care.
Teju finally reaches the hospital, only to be met with chaos — reporters buzzing around, cops blocking entry. Vinod calls a lawyer in a hurry. Teju, desperate, begs the constable to let her in, saying she’s Neil’s wife. No luck. It’s only after Manjari and Vinod step in that the doors open for her.
Inside, the inspector informs them that Neil is getting first aid and hasn’t given any statement yet. Teju pleads for a glimpse of him. Vinod, bitter and sarcastic, taunts her — if Neil is such a burden to her, why the sudden concern? Teju brushes his jabs aside, focused only on Neil.
Finally, the inspector relents — she can see Neil from a distance. Rithu Raj watches the scene unfold like a hawk.
Inside the hospital, Teju overhears nurses gossiping — none of them believe the charges against Neil. That gives her a sliver of hope. She hunts for more information and bumps into Surva Singh. Surva isn’t exactly welcoming, questioning why Teju cares when she barely accepts Neil as her husband. Teju, gathering all her courage, asserts that Neil is her husband, and she needs to see him. Impressed or perhaps moved, Surva points her towards Neil’s room.
The moment Teju spots Neil, bruised and hurt, her heart breaks. Without thinking twice, she barges into the room, ignoring all protocols. She rushes to Neil, tending to his wounds with trembling hands. The inspector tries to push her out, but Teju holds her ground — she’s Neil’s wife, and she has every right to stand by him.
The real storm brews when Neil finally speaks. He reveals that Preeti, the woman in question, had come for an abortion, but he refused because she was far along in her pregnancy. He tried doing the right thing by reporting it to his boss, but before he could, Preeti’s husband, Sachin, beat him up and accused him of misconduct.
Teju stands tall beside Neil, insisting he would never do anything wrong. But the law isn’t always kind. Despite her desperate pleas, Neil gets arrested. As he is taken away, Teju faces a flurry of reporters throwing accusatory questions. She silences them, vowing to clear Neil’s name.
Refusing to be defeated, Teju runs back inside the hospital. She demands Surva for Preeti and Sachin’s numbers — if talking can solve this, she will make it happen. Surva, cautious but supportive, agrees to help.
Back at the police station, Neil’s family arrives, their faces drawn with worry. But bad news awaits: no bail today. The judge wants proof of Neil’s innocence before setting him free. Neil, displaying more strength than he feels, urges his family to return home for his mother’s sake. Teju, though, refuses to leave his side.
Later, in a moment heavy with raw honesty, Neil asks Teju if she truly believes him. Without hesitation, she says yes. That simple, powerful “yes” lights something inside him. He then tells her the darker truth — Sachin wanted an abortion because the baby was a girl. When Neil refused and tried to report it, Sachin and his family attacked him, then spun a web of lies around him.

Meanwhile, back at home, Leena sits heartbroken as Vinod informs her that Neil’s bail was denied.
