Today’s episode kicks off with Roshni getting hit by a truckload of emotions when she hears about Krish’s accident. The poor woman is dying inside because she can’t scream from the rooftops that Krish is her own flesh and blood. Instead, she swallows the truth and almost combusts when she finds out Krish’s health is hanging by a thread. Sachin steps in with some practical advice — the kid needs an eye surgery in two days, and it’s better if he stays with them. Everyone, being decent human beings, agrees… except for Renuka, who acts like they’ve just asked her to donate a kidney. She bluntly tells Supriya to find another shelter because, according to her, their house is already bursting at the seams. Classic Renuka — more bothered about space than a sick child’s life.
Still, one look at Krish’s puppy-dog eyes melts everyone’s cold hearts. Roshni even offers to vacate her own room for Krish and his grandmother, leaving Renuka looking like she’s bitten into a lemon. Roshni puts on a brave face, hiding her tsunami of emotions behind a curtain of ‘humanity’ — but anyone with half a brain could see her love for the boy dripping from every pore.
Supriya and Krish settle into the room, and the woman barely holds it together as she touches her grandson with trembling hands. Supriya wasn’t keen on dragging the boy here, but Sachin had played his “good Samaritan” card to full effect. Thankfully, Roshni stood her ground and wouldn’t let them push the boy away again.
Later, while on a milk-fetching mission for Krish, Roshni eavesdrops on Sachin and Sayali bashing Krish’s “irresponsible” parents — unaware that one of them is standing right behind them, mentally facepalming. Their harsh words land like knives on Roshni’s heart. She immediately jumps in to defend the poor boy’s parents, shocking Sachin and Sayali. Their expressions practically scream, “Who kidnapped the old Roshni and replaced her with this emotional marshmallow?”
Later that night, Roshni dreams of Krish pleading for her love, and when she jolts awake, the ache in her heart is almost too much to bear. She watches from a distance as Sayali tends to Krish, feeling every inch the outsider in her own son’s life. It only gets worse when she sees Krish crying out for his mother in his sleep. Life really out here punching Roshni straight in the feels.
The next day, feeling like she’s drowning, Roshni calls her shady bestie Shikha for advice. But Shikha, queen of bad ideas, tells her to back off unless she wants her neatly packaged new life to explode like a soda bottle in a microwave.
Meanwhile, Sayali, soaking up all the ‘motherhood vibes,’ feels something stir inside her when Krish clutches her hand in his sleep. She gushes about it to Riya and Sachin, even dropping a hint that Sachin might make a great daddy someday. And just like that, another mini-family fantasy blooms while the real mother stands in the shadows. The episode wraps up, leaving us all clutching our hearts for Roshni.
