Kumkum Bhagya 29th April 2025 Written Update: Prarthna Meets Preeta. Today in Kumkum Bhagya written update, Smita answers Ketki and taunts her about Payal’s affair. She asks Ketki to stay away from her. Sonalika asks Shivansh why is he scaring her. He says that life has given him a big gift. She asks him not to confuse her. She professes her love to him. She adds that she wants to understand him, but he needs to share his feelings. Shivansh says that they lose something to get something better in return. She asks what he means to convey. He says that he isn’t fine, and he will see to it, nobody stays fine.
He hates to see what he had lost before. He doesn’t want Smita back in his life. Amisha comes to Shivansh and asks him about the matter. She asks him to behave well with the guests, and they will sort out his issues later. Shivansh agrees. She asks Sonalika not to worry about Shivansh. She says that something has troubled Shivansh, and maybe it’s connected to Smita.
Raunak tells Prarthna that he will apply ointment to her hand. Shivansh apologizes for hurting her. He gives the ointment. She thanks him. Sonalika takes Shivansh with him. Raunak cares for Prarthna. He compliments her. She turns shy. Shivansh doesn’t attend Smita and Kanti. The Zaveris make a leave.
Sonalika says that Shivansh is closest to his Bua Maa. Shivansh also takes a leave. Later, Prarthna comes to meet Purvi at the police station. She says that even Raunak has come to meet her. She adds that they will fight for Purvi’s freedom. Purvi asks Raunak to take care of Prarthna. Raunak agrees. Prarthna asks Purvi to stay with them once she gets released.
Purvi tells her that she had stolen a baby while searching for Prarthna and hurt the baby’s parents. She wants to repent and pay for his crime. She feels she is bearing the punishment, and she deserves it. She asks about Raunak and Prarthna’s marriage date. Raunak gives her the wedding invite. He says that the wedding is going to happen tomorrow. Prarthna wants Purvi to come and bless her.
Purvi says that she will seek special permission to attend Prarthna’s wedding. She promises that she will come and bless her daughter. On the other hand, Preeta gains consciousness. Prarthna reaches her and helps her. Preeta takes Karan’s name. She opens her eyes and sees Prarthna.

Purvi blesses Raunak and Prarthna’s Jodi. She asks Raunak to take care of Prarthna. Prarthna and Purvi cry while parting ways. Kanti finds Smita mad with anger and decides to talk to her later. They leave for home. Shivansh recalls Smita and seems disturbed. Sonalika calls him. Jaitley says that Shivansh might be busy with his Bua Maa. Sonalika tells him that she wants to talk to him before boarding the flight.
Amisha asks her to relax. Shivansh’s Bua Maa and her daughter arrive home. They talk about Shivansh. Shivansh comes home and goes to his room, ignoring them. Bua Maa tells Tanya that she will meet Shivansh. She goes to Shivansh, and he confronts her about Smita. He says that Smita is alive, but Bua Maa lied to him that Smita is dead. She is shocked. She says that he might be mistaken.
He says that he has recognized his mother, who is happily living in Zaveri’s house. He regrets that Smita is his mother. She admits that she lied to him as she had no other option. She recalls telling him about his mother’s betrayal. She asks Shivansh not to hate his dad.
Shivansh apologizes to his dad during his dad’s last moment. After the flashback, Shivansh tells Bua Maa about his pain and hatred towards Smita. He remembers his promise that he would ruin Smita’s life and never forgive her. She tells him that she has lied to him about Smita’s death to save him from revenge and hatred. She tells him that she doesn’t want him to get mad.
Shivansh admits that he hates Smita. She justifies her decision. He says that he always misunderstood his dad and couldn’t apologize to him well. He says that he just wants peace in his life. She consoles him. She asks him to consider Smita dead. He says that Bua Maa is more important than his mom. He declares that he will ruin Smita and fulfill his revenge. Kanti tries to speak to Smita, who isn’t responsive.
Shivansh tells Bua Maa that he has hurt his dad a lot, and he is living with guilt because of Smita. She asks him to understand why the elders lied to him. She commands him to stop thinking about Smita. She tells that Smita doesn’t care if he is in pain. She asks him to forget meeting Smita. Payal is angry recalling Raunak and Prarthna. Ketki asks what is she up to.
Payal tells that she will break Raunak and Prarthna’s wedding. She tells Ketki that she will not let them unite. Ketki tells that Raunak loves Prarthna, and Payal can’t do anything against them. Payal tells that she can do anything to get Raunak. Raunak and Prarthna shop for jewellery for their wedding. He likes a bracelet and makes Prarthna wear it. She gets blessed when she gets Matarani’s pendant.
She gets a call from the hospital. Raunak and Prarthna head to the hospital. He asks her to give the invitation card to anyone she wants. She goes to get her test reports. She collects the reports. The power goes off. Prarthna finds Preeta unable to breath and rushes to help her.
