YRKKH 29th April 2025 Written Update: Armaan’s Demand. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, the episode kicks off with Armaan making a bold promise to Vidya, swearing that Abhir and Kiara’s separation will never happen. He confidently assures her that if the divorce goes through, they will completely sever ties with the Goenkas. As you can imagine, Abhira isn’t exactly on board with his plan. They challenge Armaan’s confidence, questioning how he can promise something without thinking it through. Armaan, in his usual dramatic fashion, accuses Abhira of blindly supporting Abhir, but he conveniently ignores the fact that Charu and Kiara are sobbing over the mess that’s been created. He tries to make a strong point about how Kiara will suffer if they continue any relationship with the Goenkas post-separation, urging Abhira to see things his way. Abhira, not one to back down easily, continues to stand by Abhir. Armaan, clearly not feeling heard, pleads with Abhira to back him up.
Cue the whiny teen drama: Abhir spills to Armaan that Manish kicked him out of his room and that Kiara is refusing to talk to him. Manish isn’t exactly winning any ‘Father of the Year’ awards here, as he scolds Abhir and tells him to have some “shame.” Armaan and Abhira, sensing the tension, decide to talk to Abhir privately, and of course, Surekha worries about the potential fallout from this heated discussion. Swarna, on the other hand, has full faith in Abhira’s ability to handle it all. Spoiler: she’s right, but it’s definitely a bumpy ride.
Armaan, ever the problem-solver, suggests that Abhir should see a counselor. Abhir, naturally, plays the victim card, claiming therapy is a waste of time. Armaan, not one to let things slide, calls him out for being stubborn and points out that Abhir married Kiara of his own free will. When Abhir refuses to cooperate, Armaan decides the next course of action: a honeymoon for Abhir and Kiara. Because, obviously, sending two people who can’t stand each other on vacation together is the best solution, right?
Meanwhile, Abhira tries to convince Kiara to move on from this toxic relationship and get a divorce, but Kiara’s not having it. She stubbornly insists that Abhir will eventually fall for her. Abhira, clearly frustrated, argues that Charu should focus on herself rather than desperately holding on to someone who’s not interested. Armaan, unable to tolerate Abhira’s interference, snaps at her for giving Charu what he calls “bad advice,” because clearly, encouraging self-worth and independence is so wrong, right?
In the midst of this chaos, Ruhi, the little peacekeeper, spots the tension between Abhira and Armaan and decides to play matchmaker by convincing them to take Daksh to a birthday party. She even sweetly says that Daksh will call Abhira “Maate” (mother). How cute, right? It’s like she’s trying to put some positivity into the mix. After much cajoling, Abhira and Armaan agree to go to the party, but Armaan asks Abhira to wait before leaving because he has a meeting to finish. Abhira, not wanting to leave Daksh alone, continues to play with him, only to get sidetracked by Kriti’s request for a file. So, she leaves Daksh in Kriti’s care, thinking everything’s fine. Oh, the irony. While she’s gone, Daksh hurts himself, and Armaan wastes no time in blaming Abhira for not taking proper care of him. He doesn’t hold back and says Abhira doesn’t deserve to be called Daksh’s mother. Ouch. Abhira is completely shattered by this, and you can’t blame her—sometimes Armaan’s words hit harder than a speeding train.
Meanwhile, Abhir’s advice to Charu takes a darker turn as he suggests that they run away together, since no one will ever understand their love. Charu, understandably, is shocked by his boldness. She’s not ready to join him in a runaway romance just yet.
Back to the drama—Armaan, realizing his harsh words might’ve gone too far, apologizes to Ruhi for blaming Abhira. Ruhi, being the voice of reason, gently explains that Daksh is just starting to crawl and it’s only natural for him to get hurt. She tells Armaan not to blame Abhira, because, well, that’s not going to solve anything. Meanwhile, Vidya decides to put Daksh to sleep, and Abhira, feeling guilty, apologizes to Ruhi and calls herself a bad mother. Ruhi, ever the understanding friend, tells her to stop overthinking and not to be so hard on herself.
The episode wraps up with a tense moment in the precap: Armaan, once again, brings up Abhira’s “carelessness” to Vidya, which makes her worry about how she’s handling things with Pookie. Ruhi, clearly tired of the constant blame, confronts Armaan, telling him that Daksh and Pookie couldn’t have a better mother than Abhira. It’s a subtle mic drop, and honestly, it’s about time Armaan heard that.
And that’s a wrap on today’s episode—filled with love, drama, and a whole lot of miscommunication!
