GHKKPM 1st May 2025 Written Update: Teju Accepts Neil. Today in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein written update, the episode opens with Teju lost in thought, replaying Rituraj’s words in her mind. Neil walks in and surprises her with a gift. Her eyes light up as she unwraps it to find a saree. When she asks if it’s for her, Neil smiles and nods. She then questions when he bought it, and Neil shares that Nandini had told him about her Vat Savitri pooja, so he picked it out based on that. Teju’s excitement fades a little, and she remarks that the saree feels more like a gift from Nandini. Neil encourages her to try it on, but she politely declines, saying she needs to study. Privately, her mind is elsewhere—she’s determined to stop Neil from heading to Konkan. She fears something terrible, like the lion attack, might happen again.
Later, as Neil searches for something to clean his glasses, Teju offers him her kerchief. Not stopping there, she picks up the saree he gifted her and uses it to wipe his glasses herself before gently helping him wear them. Neil can’t help but smile at her affectionate gesture. Teju, though, is still preoccupied with the thought of keeping him from the trip.
The next morning, Neil takes blessings from the family before leaving for Konkan. Everyone gives him travel tips and safety advice. In the background, Teju makes one last effort to stop him—she hides his car keys. When Neil announces that he’s ready to leave, he notices the keys are missing. He searches around and finally finds them inside the saree box he had given Teju. Suspecting Teju might’ve hidden them there, he looks for her.
Just then, Teju steps out, dressed in the same saree he had gifted her. Neil’s eyes light up. He asks if she was the one who placed the keys in the box. She denies it, teasingly saying it might’ve been him. Neil agrees, lightly brushing it off, and thanks her for wearing the saree. He compliments how beautiful she looks. Teju plays along, smiling through her sadness. As Neil finally leaves, Teju turns away to hide her tears. He returns once more, asking her to at least say goodbye and telling her the room is all hers now. She stays silent, heartbroken.
That night, Teju feels the emptiness of the house. She tries calling Neil but can’t reach him due to network issues. Later, she wakes up to a voice note from him—he tells her he’s reached the camp and will be in an area with poor connectivity. He also wishes her well for her fast. Teju listens silently, wishing he had called instead. She prepares for her Vat Savitri pooja, thinking fondly of Neil and her growing feelings for him. Talking to his photo, she admits that she’s keeping the fast for him and accepts him as her husband in her heart. She prays to Shiv and Parvati, expressing her love and devotion to Neil and vowing to share this with the family after her fast ends.
Outside, a neighbor asks Leena if Teju isn’t observing the vrat. Leena dismisses the idea, saying Teju doesn’t believe in such rituals. Just then, Teju arrives, surprising everyone by saying she’s fasting with full faith. The neighborhood women admire her devotion, even comparing her to Savitri for saving her husband’s life. Nandini praises her bridal look. Teju performs the pooja with grace, though Leena mocks her silently. Teju stays focused and prays for Neil’s safety.
Rituraj watches from a distance, taking in the scene. He realizes that Teju has accepted Neil as her husband, and it fuels his anger. He vows not to let them live in peace and plans to drive a wedge between them.
During the ritual, Teju’s sacred thread snaps. Unfazed, she quickly ties it back and carries on. An older woman explains the vrat’s significance—how Savitri’s determination brought her husband back from Yamraj, making the fast a symbol of strength and love for married women.
Later, everyone begins breaking their fasts. Teju waits, hoping Neil will call. Prachi and Manjari suggest video-calling him so she can complete the ritual. But Neil’s phone remains unreachable. Leena chimes in, reminding everyone that she had warned about this. Teju refuses to eat until she talks to Neil. Leena warns her that not breaking the fast can bring misfortune. Vinod tries to reassure her.
Teju quietly heads to her room and imagines Neil lovingly feeding her water and breaking her fast. Her beautiful daydream is interrupted by Nandini’s voice. Nandini and Prachi ask her to eat, but Teju refuses. They leave the food behind and walk away. Alone, Teju breaks down in tears, missing Neil deeply. At the same time, Neil sits far away thinking about Teju and hoping she’s coping well without him.
Later that night, Teju has a terrifying dream where Neil is injured in an accident. She wakes up screaming his name. Rituraj, Nandini, and Alok rush into her room. Teju begs them to call Neil. But Rituraj accuses her of putting on an act and claims she’s emotionally attached to someone else. Nandini echoes his suspicion, questioning Teju’s loyalty and implying she might be having an affair. Hurt and cornered, Teju is left speechless as Nandini and Alok walk out in disappointment.

News reporters cover a tragic jungle accident. Two bodies have been found. IPS Savi arrives at the scene and breaks down near Rajat’s body. Nearby, Neil sobs beside Teju’s unconscious form.
