YRKKH 2nd May 2025 Written Update: Abhira’s Turmoil

YRKKH 2nd May 2025 Written Update: Abhira’s Turmoil. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, Kaveri starts the drama by saying Armaan is being extra cautious with little Pookie because he wants to be a good father. Abhira, already on edge, takes it as a passive-aggressive jab and flips the script—asking if this is Kaveri’s way of saying she’s unfit to be a mother. She confronts Kaveri about her opposition to surrogacy and how she kept pushing her to work during pregnancy. With zero filters, Abhira bluntly asks, “Am I a bad mother?”

Kaveri, never one to stay quiet, hits back with receipts. She throws in the fact that Madhav avoids her, Manoj filed a complaint against her, and even Kajal’s afraid to breathe around her. Basically, she says, “And I’m the one being questioned about parenting?” Then she softens just a little and tells Abhira that her child will be just like her—talkative, rebellious, but strong enough to face the world. She urges her to zip it and start prepping for the veneration ceremony.

Later, Abhira stumbles upon Armaan’s videos where he’s awkwardly pouring out his fears and baby-anxieties like a nervous dad-to-be. It finally hits her that Armaan isn’t being cold—he’s just scared. Cue the emotional music. She regrets not understanding him earlier and decides to be more patient and united when the baby comes.

Elsewhere, Armaan is sulking and juggling his problems with Abhira and Krish. Abhira tries to lighten his mood, but he gives her the cold shoulder. At the Goenka house, Manish tries to lift Kiara’s spirits. Swarna and Surekha demand sweets before fasting. Kiara agrees but avoids going to the Poddar house to dodge Charu. She still hands out sweets like a pro, though. Swarna and Surekha flat-out reject sweets from Abhir’s hand (yes, the drama runs deep). Kiara supports Abhir, but he says he doesn’t need anyone defending him.

Back at the Poddar house, rituals are underway. Abhira and Armaan try to act civil—they even share sweets and promise to keep the fast. Charu, meanwhile, is getting a pep talk from Abhir, who wants her to stop playing it safe. Charu says he’s expecting too much, but Abhir insists she must act now.

In a quiet moment, Armaan takes a photo. Both Ruhi and Abhira clock it—because nothing escapes them. Armaan silently spirals, doubting whether he and Abhira can co-parent Pookie without chaos. Ruhi picks up on the tension and pulls them aside for a reality check.

Then boom—Charu shows up at the Goenka house unannounced. Abhir is happy, but Kiara is not having it. When Charu tries to explain, Kiara shuts her down. Manish declares that letting Charu in would be a full-blown boundary violation.

Back with Ruhi, she gives Armaan and Abhira a cute little test: if they doubt their ability to co-parent, try pampering Daksh together. Armaan takes it seriously and asks Abhira to promise they’ll focus only on Pookie and forget about the Poddars and Goenkas drama. Abhira, being Abhira, refuses to make that kind of deal.
