The episode kicks off with ACP Nithin Majnekar dropping a nuclear-level theory on Neil: “You threw Teju out a month ago—maybe she ran into Rajat and started an affair.” Bold assumption, officer. Neil, boiling with rage but still composed, wants to clap back hard, but Lakshmi steps in like a voice of reason and tells him this isn’t the time to argue. As Neil leaves, he throws down the dignity mic: “My wife is not characterless, and I will prove it.” Nithin, meanwhile, smiles like a cat who just saw a cornered mouse and decides to keep tabs on Neil. Oh, the suspense.
Meanwhile, Vakti is playing detective and shows Savi a guitar plectrum found near the dead bodies. Savi, sharp as ever, ID’s it and notes that neither Rajat nor Teju had a guitar. Suspicious much? Nithin, always lurking via CCTV like a nosy neighbor with high-tech toys, sees the girls talking. He marches in, grabs the evidence, and throws his weight around, warning Savi to back off. He even threatens poor Vakti with suspension. Classy. Savi, not one to be scared off, mentally swears to clear Rajat’s name and serve justice with a side of sass.
Outside, Savi spots Neil. The moment is charged. She’s thinking, “Why was my husband’s name tangled with your wife?” Neil, deep in the same mess of emotions, walks away in silence. Ah, the shared pain of complicated heartbreaks.
Back at Rajat’s place, his business partner enters the chaos zone. The media swarms him with affair rumors (as if mourning needs drama fuel). He shuts them down gracefully and consoles Bhagyashree. He gives Savi a warm “you’re like my sister” pep talk, just as Tara bursts in, throwing accusations like confetti. She blames Savi for Rajat’s death, because obviously, logic has left the building. Meanwhile, Sai, in all her innocent glory, watches the rituals and brings her own photo, asking for flowers too. Excuse me while we sob. Savi gently tells her the truth hasn’t been shared yet. Tara overhears and explodes again (because why not). Her husband plays peacekeeper and drags her away before she goes full volcano.
Later, Sai heartbreakingly asks why she couldn’t have flowers too and where her dad is. Savi, holding back her own tears, points to the sky and says, “Rajat is now a star. You can say anything you want to that star.” Honestly, who’s cutting onions?
Elsewhere, Neil is spiraling. Jeetu brings him food and some wisdom: “We can’t die with our loved ones—we have to live on.” Neil, still deep in grief, says he can’t imagine life without Teju. Cue emotional mess. And just when Neil’s trying to process his pain, here comes Rithu Raj with the subtlety of a sledgehammer. He casually asks why Neil’s mad at him when “Teju was the one at fault.” Neil’s glare could burn a hole through walls as he replies, “I know whose fault it was.” Burn.
Precap: Neil visits Lakshmi and discovers Savi has beaten him to it, continuing her unofficial investigation. Buckle up, because Savi’s on a mission and Neil’s catching on fast.
