YRKKH 11th May 2025 Written Update: Emo Moments. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, Ruhi spots baby Pookie and suddenly decides she’s going to stick around with the Goenkas, like she just discovered the meaning of life. Abhira’s confused and wonders if Ruhi feels sidelined. She reassures her that they’ll raise Pookie together—co-moms style. Ruhi gets emotional, comparing Abhira to Akshara and mourning how Akshara took the fall for everything. When Abhir learns the truth, Ruhi sobs dramatically, apologizing for stealing their childhoods. The siblings comfort her like it’s a Bollywood climax. Ruhi says she doesn’t deserve forgiveness, but they hug it out anyway. Abhir suggests hiding it all from Manish so he doesn’t get a guilt trip, and Ruhi agrees. She even declares Pookie their lucky charm. Aww.
Meanwhile, Kaveri gets suspicious—because in Indian serial land, happiness is always a red flag. Arman and Abhira bring Pookie home, and Kaveri rolls out the red carpet. Manisha wants to take baby footprints, and Arman, the new helicopter parent, panics about potential skin issues. She tells him to chill; the doctor’s already signed off. Kaveri gifts a cradle, and suddenly it’s a baby shower without the cake.
Just when Abhira wants to show Pookie around, Arman snatches the baby like a control-freak nanny. He lectures her about baby care, as if she hasn’t carried Pookie for nine months. Later, Abhira wakes up to find the baby missing—turns out Arman is outside sunbathing with Pookie like it’s a spa day.
Ruhi calls to wish Happy Mother’s Day, and Daksh joins in too. Ruhi gets nostalgic, flashing an old pic of Akshara and Arohi, wishing she could wish them both. Abhira suddenly misses her whole chaotic gang.
Then comes the twist—Arman wishes himself a Happy Mother’s Day on behalf of the baby. Abhira’s like… what? To top it off, he gifts her a pair of heels with real gems. Yes, real ones. Abhira is floored and asks where she’s even supposed to wear them. Arman nonchalantly says she can go anywhere—but not with the baby. Cue the double shock.
