Anupama 14th May 2025 Written Update: Mother’s Day Mayhem. Today in Anupama written update, Mother’s Day Mayhem: Bindis, Breakdowns & a Surprise Shaadi. Mother’s Day at the Shah house kicks off with confetti, fake smiles, and emotional chaos—as expected. Ishani and Ansh try to be cute and ask Anupama to sit like she’s the queen of the moment, which, to be fair, she kind of is. The kids reveal the celebration is in her honor. Cue the games and… plot twist! Paritosh randomly invites Raghav to the party like it’s a school function, not a family event. Naturally, Leela’s radar picks it up and goes full alert. Meanwhile, Mahi is off sulking in the shadows about Anupama and Aryan.
Cut to Aryan, who’s feeling all kinds of melodramatic. He confesses to Khyati that he used to cry on Mother’s Day (as if that makes up for all his mistakes now). He says he took Khyati for granted—finally, some self-awareness! On the other side of town, the Kothari family is busy having their own episode of Family Feud. Parag wants Prarthana and Gautam to launch his London biz, but Prem and Rahi shut that dream down quickly. They remind him that Prarthana doesn’t even feel safe around Gautam. Oof. Parag, living in a bubble, says he’ll decide for her. Prem claps back—nope, Prarthana will decide. And guess what? She does. She’s not going.
But of course, Parag isn’t giving up. He blames Anupama for putting ideas in Prarthana’s head and gives them 25 days to magically fix their broken marriage. Vasundhara jumps in with the please start fresh script. Gautam, with his fake sincerity dialed up, begs for another chance.
Back at the Shah house, the games continue. Raghav manages to stick a bindi on Anupama’s forehead, winning the round and possibly Leela’s secret approval. She’s already imagining sindoor. Raghav gets sentimental and wishes her on Mother’s Day. Anupama, still unsure but softening, thinks maybe he’s not so bad after all. But the mood dips again—Mahi is missing, and clearly not in the mood for bindi games.
Rahi and Prem also wish Anupama, but Mahi is brooding somewhere, thinking Anupama’s celebrations are a big fat drama. Because in true TV style, communication is a myth. Meanwhile, Parag is busy sniffing out secrets and asks Vasundhara about Rahi visiting Anupama. He suspects a truce, but Vasundhara—Queen of Confusion—claims she doesn’t get Anupama.
Later, the Mother’s Day festivities wrap up, and Anupama gets the shocking news that Mahi’s missing. Mahi calls her and demands a solo meet-up. Not suspicious at all, right? Anupama lies to the Shahs and sneaks out, claiming it’s “just a meeting” like it’s a Tuesday Zoom call.
Khyati is now worried Aryan has ghosted them, and she’s spiraling—imagining losing both Aryan and Mahi in one day. Yikes. Meanwhile, Parag’s still handing out ultimatums, warning Gautam to stop calling Prarthana unstable and to pull himself together. Gautam puts on the “I’ll do better” act… but surprise! He’s secretly plotting to emotionally wreck Prarthana and grab the Kothari empire. Classic.
In a subplot nobody asked for, Leela tells Pakhi to earn money. Pakhi being Pakhi, throws Ishani under the bus and decides she’ll work through her. But then—drama drop! They hear a voice message from Raja, and Ishani goes full NOPE on the idea of marrying him.
Meanwhile, Rahi worries that Mahi’s stunts are pushing Anupama to the edge. And she’s not wrong—Anupama gets the biggest shock of the day when Mahi tells her she and Aryan plan to elope. Because nothing says “Happy Mother’s Day” like teenage rebellion with a sprinkle of melodrama. Mahi called her not to ask for permission—but blessings. Yeah. Blessings. Sure.
Anupama 14th May 2025 Written Update Precap:
Anupama pleads with Mahi to come home, but Mahi and Aryan are already halfway to their dramatic climax. When Anupama tries to intervene, Mahi goes full TV serial and threatens to end her life if anyone stops the wedding.
Moral of the episode:
Mother’s Day was meant to celebrate moms, but instead, Anupama got a masterclass in family dysfunction. And Gautam? Sir, if gaslighting was a profession, you’d be CEO.
