Anupama 16th May 2025 Written Update: Mahi’s Marriage Conflict. Today in Anupama written update, the Shah house witnesses rising tension as Hasmuk confronts Mahi, accusing her of lying to and manipulating Anupama. He questions why Anupama is still supporting her when Mahi has clearly gone against the family’s wishes. Hasmuk sternly tells Mahi to stop troubling Anupama, reminding her that since she went ahead and got married despite all the family opposition, she should now bear the consequences on her own. He tells Mahi and Aryan to leave and move into the Kothari house. Paritosh backs him up, telling Mahi to go so the Shah family can finally have some peace.
Pakhi, Pari, and Ishani also insist that Mahi leave, but Mahi refuses to budge unless Anupama comes with her. She makes an emotional claim—Anupama has always fought for others but never taken a stand for herself. Mahi says she won’t leave the Shah house without Anupama and boldly asserts her right to stay. In response, Pakhi hits back, saying that even Kavya abandoned Mahi, and it was the Shah family who raised her. Paritosh reminds her this isn’t a shelter home. Still, Mahi is unrelenting—she says it’s okay if the Shahs don’t support her, but Anupama must finally take a stand.
Meanwhile, at the Kothari house, Parag and Vasundhara are seen talking about how Anupama had tried (and failed) to help Prarthana and Gautam with their divorce. Rahi defends Anupama, but the tension escalates when Anupama walks in with Mahi and Aryan. The Kothari family is shocked to learn that Mahi and Aryan are now married. Rahi demands to know why Anupama was involved in this, and Anupama explains that Mahi had threatened her.
Back at the Shah home, Hasmuk and Leela worry about Anupama getting caught in the chaos again. Leela fears Anupama is too easily manipulated by her children and is concerned the Kotharis might blame her.
True to those fears, Parag refuses to accept the marriage and asks Aryan to go to his room, but Aryan refuses to leave Mahi’s side. Vasundhara questions Anupama’s silence and demands to know why she didn’t inform them earlier. Anupama says Mahi had taken her phone. Vasundhara still pins the blame on her. Aryan stands firm beside Mahi, but Parag accuses him of emotional blackmail. Khyati supports the young couple, further surprising the family.
Back at the Shah house, a worried Pakhi shares her fears about Ishani. Kinjal consoles her, urging her not to push Ishani into marrying Raja, and adds that they should be more concerned about the girls’ futures. Meanwhile, Khyati declares she can’t live without Aryan, and Parag challenges her—if she truly means it, she can leave with him.
Vasundhara continues her tirade, raising concerns about Mahi’s background and questioning how Anupama expects them to accept such a sudden and impulsive marriage. Parag gives Aryan a hard choice: leave Mahi or leave the house. Aryan chooses Mahi. At this, Khyati lashes out at Anupama, blaming her for losing Aryan again.
Just as Mahi and Aryan are about to leave, Anupama stops them. For the first time, she takes a bold stand—not just for them, but for herself. She explains Mahi’s motivations and asks the Kotharis to reconsider. She suggests a temporary separation between Aryan and Mahi to give everyone time to process. Aryan agrees. Khyati, surprisingly, softens and pleads with Parag to accept their love.
Later, Anupama informs the Shahs that Parag has accepted the marriage. But the Shahs are skeptical, especially Hasmuk, who worries the Kotharis might flip later. Anupama tries to calm their fears, saying Aryan is deeply loved by his family, and they won’t go back on their word.
In a rare moment of clarity, Mahi apologizes to Anupama for her earlier behavior. Anupama accepts it but warns her not to hurt Aryan or create problems in Prem and Rahi’s marriage again.
