Jhanak 16th May 2025 Written Update: Savage Apologies. Today in Jhanak written update, the episode opens with yet another dramatic village showdown. Kanka throws a fit, claiming Nutan can’t make the pooja rangoli. Parashar shuts her down, calmly asserting that Nutan will make it. Nutan, however, humbly says she doesn’t want to. Parashar, determined to prove her worth to the villagers, calls on the women to stand beside Nutan if they support her. One by one, the ladies come forward.
Kanka warns them to stay away from her if they’re siding with Nutan. Parashar gives her a solid dose of reality—saying no one will even talk to her if she keeps up with this tantrum parade. Kanka storms off in rage. Parashar tells everyone to head to the village fair and urges Nutan to come along too, saying her heartfelt prayer might be fulfilled this time. He leaves, and Nutan joins the rangoli-making with the other women.
Rani praises her art, and Nutan fondly remembers her friend Ishani used to say the same. She wishes to meet Ishani but doesn’t know how to reach her. Rani says maybe Ishani is looking for her too. Lakshmi assures Nutan that she and Ishani will surely reunite. She also mentions they never doubted Nutan, blaming Kanka for trying to manipulate them. Nutan surprisingly defends Kanka and asks them not to abandon her, saying Kanka needs love now more than ever.
Meanwhile, Jeet shows up at Menka’s house with his gang. Sandhya fears the worst. Ambika spots Jeet and points him out to Abhijeet, who wants to talk to him, but everyone shuts that idea down. Sandhya insists Anindya handle the mess. The elders think Ishani is the problem. Grandma declares Ishani can never fit in with her in-laws. Abhijeet, still firm in his support, says they’ll be proud of Ishani one day.
Cut to Ishani dancing at the haldi with other girls—until Jeet appears like an unwanted ad. Everyone freezes. Anindya scolds Ishani for insulting Jeet. She claps back—saying Jeet started it, and she just replied. Jeet claims Anindya told him Ishani wanted to apologize. Ishani, rightfully furious, denies this. Yet Ambika and Sandhya corner her into apologizing—for Menka’s sake.
Ishani eventually mutters a dry, unapologetic sorry. Jeet, predictably wounded in ego, tells Anindya he came there to be insulted. He warns that things are going to get ugly. Anindya holds Ishani responsible and urges Abhijeet to keep her in check. As Ishani walks away, Jeet smugly tells his friend that she’s fire.
Elsewhere, Moon refuses food. Arundhati and Anjana try coaxing her, but she just wants to go to her mother. When Arundhati says Arshi will take her out, Moon retorts that Arshi is not her mother.
On another track, Tanuja shares her doubts with Bipasha about Moon being Arshi’s daughter. Bipasha is glad the family is reunited, but Tanuja suspects this is Jhanak’s trap. Shubhankar refuses to accept Moon because of her connection to Jhanak. Bipasha suggests doing a DNA test if they have doubts, but Tanuja says Anirudh won’t agree to that.
Back in the village, Parashar tries to lift Nutan’s spirits. He acknowledges she’s heartbroken over Moon’s departure and says Anirudh did her wrong. He asks why she never told Anirudh their marriage was fake. Nutan says it didn’t feel necessary. Parashar urges her to join him at the fair and asks if she believes he’ll win in his cause. Nutan says yes, and wants to be part of his fight for villagers’ rights. He says Nutan is still stuck on Anirudh, who doesn’t even care about her, while he continues to care deeply—but gets no attention in return.
