Kumkum Bhagya 19th May 2025 Written Update: Prarthna Defends Preeta. Today in Kumkum Bhagya written update, Shivansh reasons why he doesn’t want to divorce Prarthna right now. Bua Maa reminds him of his promise. He tells that once he gets out of this mess, he will leave Prarthna. She asks him to go and sleep. He leaves. Tanya asks her why didn’t she tell him about Sonalika’s calls. Bua Maa doesn’t want to stress him. She tells Tanya that Shivansh is already worried, they will tell the truth to Sonalika later and help Shivansh handle the matter.
Tanya asks her to think of her condition. She tells that Bua Maa doesn’t care for her. Bua Maa tells that she loves Shivansh as her first child. Tanya gets upset and leaves. Bua Maa smiles. Karan wakes up and finds himself at a hospital. He recalls spotting Preeta. He asks the nurse who got him admitted at the hospital. She asks him to ask at the reception. He rushes to change. Smita meets Payal. She tells her that she is called at the police station and she is nervous.
Payal asks her to relax and put the blame on Priya Saluja. Smita agrees. Karan changes his clothes and goes to the reception. She asks the nurse who got him to the hospital. The nurse tells that his wife accompanied him. He asks for the form where the details are filled. She agrees and shows him the papers. He checks Priya Saluja’s name. He tells that he wants to meet Priya and thank him. She informs that the police arrested Priya Saluja, as she is blamed for the food poisoning. He is shocked.
He says that Priya can’t harm anyone’s life. He thanks her for the details. He rushes to the police station. Prarthna calls the hospital and speaks to the nurse about Karan. She learns about Priya’s arrest. Prarthna also rushes to the police station to defend Preeta. She gets Gayatri’s call. She asks Gayatri to come to the police station. Smita reaches the police station and meets the inspector.
He asks Smita to meet Priya and confirm if she is the one who is the culprit. Smita meets Preeta. Preeta tells her that she didn’t do anything. She asks Smita if Karan and the other guests are okay. Smita says that everyone is okay. Preeta gets doubtful. Prarthna faces Smita at the police station. Smita scolds Prarthna for trying to ignore her. She says that Raunak truly loved Prarthna, but she just used him.
She reprimands Prarthna. She knows Shivansh’s revenge motives, and still blames her. Prarthna recalls Shivansh’s words and cries. Smita continues to accuse her. Gayatri comes and rebukes Smita for scolding Prarthna. Mayank comes to meet Raunak. Raunak is disturbed in sleep, while dreaming of Shivansh and Prarthna. Raunak wakes up and screams. He tells Mayank about Shivansh and Prarthna’s closeness. He tells that he wants his Prarthna back.
Smita lectures Gayatri on her status. Gayatri answers her back. She tells that relationships matter to them. She doesn’t want to take anyone’s wrong words. She defends Prarthna. Prarthna asks Gayatri to stop it. Smita blames Prarthna for triggering Gayatri. Gayatri asks Smita not to blame Prarthna; Shivansh has betrayed Prarthna and married her just because of Smita.
She calls Smita the culprit. Prarthna asks Gayatri to stop at once, and raises her hand. Shivansh looks for Prarthna. He tells Bua Maa that he knows Raunak has planned this conspiracy, as Raunak has threatened him to ruin his reception. He adds that Raunak doesn’t know what he will do now. Smita asks Prarthna to stop her drama and just remember what she said. Smita leaves.
Prarthna apologizes to Gayatri and hugs her. Gayatri asks Prarthna to hit her if she does anything wrong. She doesn’t want to hear anything against her sister. Prarthna pacifies her. She goes and meets the police inspector. She defends Preeta. He tells about Smita’s accusation against Priya Saluja. She tells that Smita might be mistaken. He tells that he will investigate the matter. He agrees to release Priya. She thanks him.
