Meanwhile, in a quieter yet equally emotional scene, Kanti gave Raunak a pep talk about love, loss, and letting go. He acknowledged Raunak’s heartbreak over Prarthna but asked him to think of Smita instead. Kanti urged him to shift his focus and maybe even consider giving love another shot—preferably with someone less dramatic.
But leave it to Payal to take things from “I’m innocent!” to “Let’s ruin her life!” in less than five minutes. Kanti asks Raunak will his problems get solved if he drinks. Raunak tells that he knows alcohol doesn’t solve anything, but its his medicine, he is trying to find peace and he is still suffering. He feels Kanti can’t understand the pain of betrayal. He asks why did a stranger snatch his everything, Shivansh isn’t his enemy, but he has suddenly entered his life and ruined everything. He feels angered. Kanti asks him to calm down. Raunak gets Payal’s call. She tells him about Smita’s arrest. He is left shocked.
Kanti takes the phone and speaks to Payal. Payal tells him about Prarthna blaming Smita and getting her arrested. Kanti can’t believe it. He asks Raunak to stop. Raunak tells that Shivansh has done this. Kanti asks how he can say this confidently. Raunak asks him to just let him go. He reaches Shivansh’s house. He asks Shivansh to come out. Shivansh asks him why he is shouting. Raunak asks him how dare he get Smita arrested. Shivansh asks him to behave himself. Raunak punches his face.
He scolds Shivansh for his never-ending hatred. Shivansh limits him. They get into a fight. Bua Maa stops them. She asks Raunak to go to the police station and try to bail out Smita. Raunak threatens Shivansh. Bua Maa asks Shivansh not to answer Raunak at this time. She asks Raunak to do a son’s duty and help Smita. Raunak takes a leave. Shivansh tells her that Raunak was blaming him. Payal calls Raunak again. She tells Ketki that Raunak will believe her when she tells about Prarthna getting Smita arrested.
Shivansh finds Raunak’s phone lying there. He takes the call. Payal tells about Prarthna’s complaint against Smita. Shivansh is shocked. He disconnects the call. Smita yells at the constables and tells them that they will regret it a lot. Bua Maa wonders what Shivansh is thinking. Shivansh stops Prarthna at the door when she comes home from the police station. He asks where did she go. She answers him.
She says that she has gone to the police station and hospital. He asks why she went. She says that Priya was arrested, so she went there to defend Priya and get her released. He says that the police believed her because she is a Randhawa now. She reminds him about Priya’s blessing. He asks who the culprit is if Priya is innocent. She doesn’t want to name Smita and anger Shivansh. He says that she got Smita arrested. She is shocked to know this. He scolds her. He says that he has to settle his scores with Smita.
He curses the day he got married to Prarthna. She reminds him that he cheated her and married her by taking a disguise. He asks her not to argue with him. He lectures her. He blames her for taking revenge on Smita, knowing the latter hates her. He is angry that Prarthna is in his life. He calls her a big mistake. He tells that he has to take revenge on Smita, and he doesn’t want Prarthna to interfere. Bua Maa overhears them. Prarthna goes and recalls his words. Bua Maa reaches Prarthna and pacifies her.
Bua Maa tells that Shivansh has married Prarthna to hurt Raunak and Smita, but he now regrets his mistake of marrying Prarthna by deception. She asks Prarthna to leave Shivansh’s life. She says that Shivansh just wants his revenge on Smita, and Prarthna doesn’t matter to him. She wipes Prarthna’s tears. She says that it’s not Prarthna’s mistake. She asks Prarthna why she is keeping the marriage when Shivansh finds it unwanted. She advises Prarthna to think about ending the marriage.
Kanti and Raunak try to help Smita. They speak to the inspector. They request him to let them meet Smita. The inspector tells that they must follow the rules. He asks Raunak to come tomorrow. Raunak renders an emotional speech. He tells that he is crying for his mother. He begs him to let him meet his mom once. He tells that he got betrayed, he was sunk in sorrow, and he didn’t realize Smita’s pain. He wants to stand by Smita and support her. Kanti asks the Inspector to permit at least Raunak. He worries about Smita.
The inspector permits Raunak. Raunak thanks him. He goes to the waiting room to meet Smita. Bua Maa asks Prarthna not to break down and risk her life. She says that it will be good if Prarthna goes away. She adds that she has a daughter, and she can understand Prarthna’s pain. She says that Shivansh doesn’t care if Prarthna lives or dies. She asks Prarthna not to feel bad and just face the truth. She tells Prarthna that she must go to her parents’ house. Prarthna is in tears.
Bua Maa tells that Shivansh will never accept Prarthna as his wife; she should just leave and stop being a punching bag in someone’s revenge story, her wedding is just a namesake, and Prarthna will just live as a piece of furniture in the house. She requests Prarthna to go away. She promises to stand by Prarthna.
She tells that Prarthna will never get happiness in their house, so she should just go away and find happiness. She adds that Prarthna is like a daughter to her and she can’t see her crying in sorrow. She wants to get rid of the sorrowful burden. She pleads with her. She opens the door for Prarthna.
