Kumkum Bhagya 24th May 2025 Written Update: Shivansh’s Turmoil Grows, Prarthna Walks Away in Heartbreak.
In today’s episode of Kumkum Bhagya, emotional chaos brews as misunderstandings widen the gap between hearts.
It all starts with Bua Maa heading to Shivansh’s room to check on him, only to find it empty. She casually tells Sonalika that Shivansh is in the shower, giving her a moment of relief. But beneath that calm cover, Bua Maa knows something is off—Shivansh isn’t just tired, he’s mentally drained from work and personal issues.
Shivansh, meanwhile, is outdoors catching his breath. When Bua Maa calls him, he admits he felt suffocated and needed air. She gently brings up the drama involving Prarthna and Smita. Shivansh quickly brushes it off, claiming it doesn’t affect him. But his words betray his thoughts—he’s clearly torn. He defends Smita, saying she could never stoop so low as to poison food. At the same time, he’s upset that Prarthna didn’t speak to him before making accusations.
Bua Maa listens quietly, realizing that Shivansh is caught in emotional confusion—his heart possibly leaning toward both women. She urges him to return home and hopes Sonalika’s visit the next day will help anchor him and bring stability back into his life.
On the other side, Preeta panics upon realizing that Prarthna overheard her conversation with Varsha and has walked out. Preeta finds a note left behind and rushes to stop her. Prarthna, meanwhile, walks aimlessly on the road, shattered and heartbroken, haunted by Shivansh’s cold words.
Will Shivansh realize his true feelings before it’s too late? Will Prarthna find the strength to face the storm, or is this the beginning of a bigger distance?

Prarthna sees the stormy weather. She thinks to go home by walk, but finds it difficult. A couple passes by and stops to offer help. A lady asks Prarthna if she wants help. Prarthna weeps. The lady asks her to relax and have some water. She tells that she will drop Prarthna home. Prarthna believes her and doesn’t feel insecure. She accepts the lift. The lady asks the man to leave the driving seat.
Prarthna gets suspicious when she spots a drug packet in the car. She tries to get down the car but finds the door locked. She asks the lady to open the door, she has to go and pick something from her house. The lady shows her true colours and scolds her, asking her to sit back. She calls Prarthna a fool to believe a stranger. Prarthna asks what does she mean. The man makes a call to someone. The goons arrive in a van and kidnap Prarthna. The lady tells Prarthna that she has been sold. Prarthna is shell-shocked.
She tries hard to struggle and escape. She shouts for help. Preeta happens to see her. Before Preeta could arrange a help, the goons take away Prarthna. Preeta rushes to hire an auto rickshaw and follow the van. The auto driver refuses at first. She tells about a girl’s kidnapping and pleads for help. He agrees. Prarthna hears the goons’ talking of dealing her with some rich man named Marcus. John calls Marcus. Marcus tells that his car broke down and he will be late. John asks him to send the location.
He calls Bhavesh and asks him to pick up Marcus. Raunak thinks of Smita. He tells Mayank that he had a fight with Shivansh, but the latter got Smita arrested. He doesn’t want to spare Shivansh. Mayank asks him to drive carefully. Raunak hits Bhavesh’s car. They meet on the road and get into an argument. Bhavesh taunts Raunak for missing to marry Prarthna. He tells that they both fought to marry her, but Shivansh married her. He still thinks he deserves Prarthna. He tells that he will marry Prarthna.
Raunak asks him to stop dreaming of her. Bhavesh tells that his heart says it always, Prarthna will eventually come to him. Raunak doesn’t think its possible. Bhavesh tells that Shivansh doesn’t love Prarthna, and he married her just to take revenge on Zaveri family. Raunak slaps him. Bhavesh gets angry. His friend asks him to leave Raunak and come for the important pickup. Bhavesh threatens Raunak. He challenges that he will marry Prarthna and torture her a lot. Raunak rages. Bhavesh leaves.
Raunak and Mayank also leave in their car. Prarthna begs the goons to spare her. They laugh at her high hopes. Preeta calls Shivansh. He doesn’t take her call. She tells him that she has to inform him about his wife’s kidnapping. She calls him again. He takes the call. He asks who is she and why is she calling him repeatedly. She tells him that she is Priya Saluja, and she has met him at his wedding. She adds that she wants to inform him about Prarthna. He tells that he has no relationship with Prarthna.
She states that Prarthna got kidnapped. She asks for his help. He tells that he will reach her soon if she drops her location. She agrees. Bhavesh tells his friend that he can’t get Prarthna now, as he has no power to fight Shivansh, but he likes to challenge Raunak and anger him by making such bad statements. Raunak and Mayank get stuck in traffic. Bhavesh meets Marcus. Prarthna prays to get help. She prepares to fight the goons, but gets caught at gunpoint. Shivansh meets Preeta.
She thanks him for coming. He asks her about the van route. She guides him. Bhavesh talks to Marcus. He sees Raunak following him. He doesn’t care. Prarthna finds herself in big trouble. A lady scares Prarthna and asks her to get decked up for the auction.
