Drama, Denial & DNA Doubts: This Episode of Jhanak Is a Full-On Rollercoaster. If you thought things were already dramatic, buckle up—because this episode comes packed with confessions, heartbreaks, one very emotional twist, and a looming medical emergency that could shatter hearts.
We start with Parashar finally owning up to his lies. He accepts that he, too, deserves punishment and decides to leave the village with Nutan. But before his dramatic exit, he throws some heavy shade at Kanka, reminding her that he once stood by her during her darkest hour, when she was pregnant with a city guy’s child. Oof. Someone hand Kanka a burn ointment. He also reminds her that Nutan has done more good than she remembers. To keep her safe, Parashar vows his gang will protect Nutan even after he leaves.
Cut to Anirudh and Moon—Moon defends Appu as a kind soul, but Arshi storms in, flipping the emotional table. She’s upset they went to meet Appu. She drops a heartbreaking truth bomb: Appu doesn’t have much time left and Moon won’t be able to handle losing her. Cue an emotionally charged argument. If you weren’t already team Appu, this scene would convert you.
Back at the main house, Bipasha’s trying to stir some concern about Appu’s health—Tanuja and Shubh drop truth bombs of their own, calling out Lalon’s negligence. Things escalate when they hear shouting from Anirudh’s room. Everyone runs in like it’s a house on fire—emotionally, it kind of is.
Moon wants to see Nutan, but the scene turns sour fast. Bipasha dares to ask if Moon even belongs in their family, and Anirudh, clearly done with the drama, shuts her up. But the final blow comes from Shubh, who coldly claims Moon isn’t his child. You could feel the earth crack in that moment. Anirudh walks away with Moon, shattered. Arshi, suspicious, questions them all. Shubh, ever the plot accelerator, suggests a DNA test—because why talk it out when you can get some lab drama involved?
Meanwhile, Lalon’s getting the biggest scare of his life. Anuradha sends him to check on Appu. He finds her unresponsive—with foam at her mouth, cold hands, and no reaction. Panic spreads like wildfire. Kajol tries to revive her. Lalon breaks down, begging someone to say it’s not real. Neighbors rush in, and the community watches as Lalon spirals. Anirudh, elsewhere, orders someone to call a doctor. But by the looks of it—it might be too late. Cue heartbreak.
Away from the chaos, Ishani’s trying to pick up her life. Abhijeet drops her off at college, encouraging her to focus on her studies. Her friends, however, suggest she lay low. But Ishani’s not having it—she stands up for herself like the queen she is and refuses to back down.
The teacher arrives and grills her about the molestation incident. Ishani bravely recounts the events, but the teacher reacts like it’s a crime thriller. She sends her to the principal’s office for further questioning. Because what’s trauma without a little bureaucracy, right?
And just when you thought Nutan might finally catch a break—she collapses, crying for her unborn baby. Parashar’s back with mangoes and lemons, trying to keep things chill, while Nutan reveals she’s been vomiting and feeling weak. She still refuses to tell Anirudh about the baby. She says she can’t handle more drama. Oh, honey. Too late for that.
Precap promises more pain—Nutan slips and falls, and we hear her scream in fear for her baby. Daimaa rushes to her side, and we’re all left holding our breath.
Verdict: This episode was a hurricane of emotion. From family identity crises to tragic medical scares and a not-so-subtle paternity mystery—every corner of this story is simmering. And Appu? She might’ve just broken every viewer’s heart.
