YRKKH 26th May 2025 Written Update: Abhira Gets Hit by Feelings, Armaan Dodges Questions Like a Pro – Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Hits the Right Drama Notes!

So, in today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we had a full-blown nostalgia trip mixed with emotional noodles, rogue flower theft, and some good ol’ “almost but not quite” encounters.

It starts with a curious radio caller asking Armaan what he’d do if his ex came back. Naturally, Armaan pulls the classic “I’m just here to ask questions, not answer them” escape move. Smooth, Mr. RJ. Real smooth. Clearly dodging harder than a cat near a bathtub.

Meanwhile, both Abhira and Armaan spiral into a romantic flashback triggered by a love song. Abhira, being the emotional radar she is, catches his voice on FM and starts overthinking like every millennial who hears a familiar voice post-breakup.

Back at the house, Kaveri and Vidya are in chill mode, offering noodles to Abhira, who’s too busy daydreaming about Mr. RJ to even notice. The girl’s in a trance. Noodles? What noodles? There’s heartbreak to process.

Then, Abhira spots an orphanage and suddenly remembers Pookie. Yes, Pookie. The mysterious little emotional side plot we didn’t know we missed. She gets emotional, because what’s a day without a little cry session?

Vidya, being the cinnamon roll she is, buys flowers for Abhira just to cheer her up because “Abhira never buys anything for herself.” Aww. Enter Maira, a tornado in designer heels, who thinks, “Ooh, pretty flowers! I’ll take those!” – and doesn’t even flinch while paying for them like she’s at a self-checkout counter. Of course, Kaveri and Vidya chase after her like it’s DDLJ in reverse.

Maira ends up bumping into Abhira, who learns that the flowers are for Maira’s mom. Cue: emotional bonding over flora. But just as things get a little wholesome, Vidya’s nose starts bleeding, which completely shifts the mood. Hospital time.

Kaveri pulls the “be practical” card, asking Abhira to deliver a sari order while Vidya is being checked up. Abhira hesitates but agrees. Classic desi multitasking—handling a health scare and a delivery all in one breath.

Meanwhile, Maira is setting up for her grand engagement with Armaan, clearly not sensing that drama is cooking faster than her outfit changes. Even Geetanjali suspects something fishy between Maira and Dadu. (Girl, you’re not wrong.)

Just when you think Abhira’s delivery mission will go smoothly, she—of course—falls and gets hurt. Because why not throw in an injury to keep things spicy?

Precap has a classic soap move: Armaan hears a knock, asks who it is. Maira teases it’s a surprise. And surprise it is—Abhira is right there, but they just miss seeing each other. Another classic Yeh Rishta “almost reunion” served fresh.

Verdict: This episode had everything—emotions, near-meetings, accidental flower robberies, and Armaan still being emotionally unavailable. Peak masala, with just enough spice to keep you hooked.
