Rishi recalls Lakshmi and Shalu’s words, and stays confused. Malishka meets him. She tries to brainwash him against Lakshmi by showing the CCTV footage to him. She tells that she is feeling strange to go against Lakshmi and do bad to her. She asks Rishi to trust her, she wants justice for Neelam and she can go against anyone to serve the purpose. She tells that she loves and respects Neelam.
She adds that Neelam always supported her. She shares the truth with him. She tells that she has seen the CCTV footage, which nobody has seen till now. He asks her what’s in the footage. She asks him to see it himself. He sees the footage and finds Lakshmi going towards the chandelier rope. He feels shaken. He goes back to the courtroom. The recess ends, and the hearing resumes. Lakshmi comes there and sees Rishi with hope.
The lawyers get engaged in their usual argument over Lakshmi’s crime confession and statement of denial. The lawyer asks Malishka to come to the witness box. Malishka gives her statement against Lakshmi. She frames Lakshmi. She tells that Neelam used to dislike Lakshmi and she even ousted Lakshmi, because Lakshmi used to always fight with Neelam. She tells the judge that Lakshmi tried to kill her unborn baby. Shalu tells them that Malishka is lying. The lawyer insults Lakshmi. The judge asks him not to give any verdict.
The lawyer asks Malishka to tell more about Lakshmi. Malishka speaks ill about Lakshmi. Lakshmi’s lawyer asks her if she likes Lakshmi and has a good relationship with her. Malishka says yes. Shalu calls it a lie. Malishka tells that Lakshmi isn’t her sister, she just likes Lakshmi but they aren’t friendly. The lawyer tells that Malishka wants to take Lakshmi’s place in Rishi’s life. She asks him to stay in his limits. He asks her to tell the truth about Rishi and her relationship.
He tells that she is saying bad things to Lakshmi and blaming her for no reason. Rishi tells the judge that he wants to say something. He goes to the witness box. He sees Lakshmi and recalls their best moments. Shalu hopes Rishi will give statement in Lakshmi’s favor. The lawyer asks Rishi to say about Lakshmi’s conduct and character. Rishi tells that he hasn’t seen a person like Lakshmi, she is different and she thinks about family first. He sings her praises.
He tells that Lakshmi can give her life for the sake of her family. Lakshmi gets emotional and cries, while Malishka worries. He tells that Lakshmi used to be good before, but now she has turned evil. Malishka smiles happily, while Lakshmi and Shalu receive a shock when he testifies against Lakshmi. He tells that Lakshmi has killed Neelam, and he has seen it himself in the CCTV footage.
He adds that Lakshmi turned insecure and she tried to harm Malishka’s unborn baby, so they had to oust Lakshmi, Neelam was against her, so she killed Neelam. Shalu weeps and asks him why he is telling a lie. Rishi tells that he is saying the truth. He gives the footage to the court. He asks the judge to check the footage once. Lakshmi fears that Paro will be spotted in the footage.
