The episode begins with Vikrant playing the ‘ideal groom’ card, telling Mannat that he already knows his future wife’s favorite food. But oh no, he won’t be making any decisions—this entire shaadi setup is Mannat’s responsibility, and so is finalizing the menu. Mannat, emotionally stuck between her love for Vikrant and loyalty to her truth, drops the health-conscious Mallika menu with a side of awkwardness.
Vikrant, being emotionally whiny in his mind, thinks Mannat is mad at him—because duh, she’s the one arranging her own heartbreak. He can’t keep up the “wedding drama” either. His inner monologue is basically: “God, please get me out of this Mallika mess and unite me with Mannat before my brain explodes from guilt.”
Mallika the Mastermind of the Confession Game
Meanwhile, Mallika floats in like a storm dressed in delusion, asking Vikrant to prepare a “confession speech” for her — and nope, it’s not because she’s sentimental. It’s because she wants Mannat to feel jealous, crushed, and cornered. Oh, and she’s got the perfect plan: Vikrant should rehearse the whole speech in front of Mannat. Talk about twisted rehearsals.
Mallika then sweetly whispers to Vikrant that Mannat is here (as if she summoned her with pure villainy), and hugs him for extra emotional sabotage. Mannat walks in, sees them, gets emotionally sucker-punched, and is about to walk away—but Vikrant stops her. Mallika, ever the drama director, tells him to romantically propose her on the spot. Mannat just says she came to finalize the menu but in her mind, she’s screaming, “I have bigger fish to fry—like exposing Aishwarya!”

Elsewhere, Vikrant’s mom Neetu is cooking up her own wicked thali of schemes. She’s seen adding some “memory-erasing medicine” to Vikrant’s juice, feeling only a smidge guilty about it. Why? Because she wants Vikrant to marry Mallika, inherit all of Roni’s property, and get rid of Raveena and Aishwarya from her life. She’s basically auditioning for Saas of the Year (with Evil Bonus Points).
Mannat brings food to Vikrant. He’s in a weirdly cute mood and asks her to feed him because apparently, he’s busy being helpless. She complies, accidentally scratches his cheek, and rushes to clean it. Then he turns the tables and feeds her too, cleaning her cheek gently. Cue romantic violins and confused heartbeats.
Just then, Neetu storms in like a one-woman tornado and accuses Mannat of trying to seduce her son. She hands Vikrant the drugged juice, but Mannat, ever alert, “accidentally” spills it. She apologizes sweetly, but inside, she’s like “not on my watch, aunty.”
Vikrant finally shows some backbone and defends Mannat in front of Neetu. Small victory, big moment.
Shalini Joins the Team Truth
Later, Shalini meets Mannat and offers her solid support. She says she’s with her in exposing Aishwarya and that Aishwarya is scared of the truth. This line hits hard—because now, it’s not just Mannat vs the world anymore. The war against lies is about to get a real team.
