Shalu comes to Oberoi house to meet Ayush and Rishi. She tells that she has come to tell them something she got to know. Aanchal tells her that nobody wants to talk to her and she should just leave. Ayush tells Shalu that he is busy and he will talk to her later. She tells him that Lakshmi was murmuring something in sleep and its important.
He tells that he doesn’t want to talk to her right now and she should just listen to Aanchal and go home. Rishi tells Shalu that they have to go out of city for a meeting, so Ayush will call her later. Shalu asks Ayush about his trip. He tells her that whatever was between them, their marriage, they need to delay it because of the ongoing situation. Karishma tells Shalu that they are calling off the marriage, and the delay is forever. Shalu cries and sees Ayush. Ayush states he has some work and takes a leave.
Malishka smiles, seeing Shalu in tears. Karishma stops Shalu from going after Ayush. She asks Shalu to go home. Shalu says she has the right to talk to Ayush. Karishma scolds her. Rishi stops Karishma. He asks her to let Shalu meet Ayush in private. Shalu thanks Rishi. She goes to meet Ayush in his room. Shalu tells Ayush that she wants to talk to him. He refuses to listen.
He tells that he is leaving the country and their marriage isn’t happening. Shalu breaks down. She asks what he is saying. He says that she heard it right. She asks the reason. She says that he can say anything else to hurt her. She admits her love for him. She asks how she can live without him. She says that he did wrong to make promises to her. He says that he didn’t know things would change so much, Lakshmi did wrong to snatch Neelam, and Shalu is Lakshmi’s sister.
She adds that she didn’t want to marry him and become part of the Oberoi family, because she had seen her sister suffer. She asks why he loved her and made her fall for him when he didn’t want to marry her. He apologizes. She says that she doesn’t want his sorry, but his love. She gets angry with him because he broke her heart. She tells Ayush that Lakshmi isn’t wrong, she is innocent and just her situation is wrong. He doesn’t want to talk about Lakshmi.
She breaks her relationship with Ayush, when he states that Lakshmi has killed Neelam. She tells that she can never hear anything against her sister. She returns her engagement ring to him. He cries and recollects Shalu’s words. Malishka tells Rishi that Shalu shouldn’t come home often, it’s not right when they have decided not to take Ayush and Shalu’s relationship further.
She adds that they should restrict Shalu. She reminds that Lakshmi has killed Neelam. She tells that she already showed the footage to Rishi. Karishma and Aanchal ask her about the footage. Rishi asks them not to worry. Malishka says that they can’t let anyone enter their house. She scares them of Shalu’s possible crimes. Rishi stops them. Malishka speaks against Lakshmi and Shalu.
She provokes Karishma and Aanchal. Aanchal tells that she will never forgive Lakshmi. She adds that they shouldn’t permit Shalu’s entry in their house. She feels Ayush shouldn’t marry Shalu. Karishma agrees with her. Rishi asks them not to misjudge Shalu. He tells that they will think well and decide about Ayush and Shalu later.
He adds that they should cope with their loss; once the court case ends, they can think about them. Karishma doesn’t want Ayush and Shalu’s marriage to happen. Rishi tells that they will decide it after a year, Ayush and Shalu can marry, they can decide for their lives, and it’s their decision. Karishma tells that they are one family and they can decide for Ayush. Aanchal reminds Neelam’s words to Rishi. She tells that Ayush and Shalu can’t decide about their marriage, when both the families are involved.
