YRKKH 8th June 2025 Written Update: Tangled Destiny. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, the episode kicks off with a frantic Maira, begging her friends to protect her from Kaveri and Vidya, who are playfully chasing her. Her friends cleverly set a skipping rope challenge for the two women, hoping to stall them. But Kaveri and Vidya, not ones to be outwitted, tackle the challenge and speed off to find Maira, who quickly hides herself out of their sight.
Elsewhere, Manisha is visibly hurt by Tanya’s insensitive comment about her weight. Manoj and Kajal step in to support Manisha, while Kiara tries to mediate, saying that elders sometimes speak without realizing how hurtful their words can be. But Manisha is firm—Tanya’s words weren’t just careless, they were deeply wounding. Kajal urges Sanjay to stand by Manisha, but on the other side, Tanya approaches Krish, questioning if he has a problem with her weight. Krish immediately denies it and expresses his frustration with the family, asking the Poddars why they can’t at least pretend to care about Tanya.
Meanwhile, the chase continues. Maira, still hiding, ducks behind Geetanjali and spots Abhira’s mobile lying around. Armaan sees the phone and notices Kesari Vastralay’s card inside. That nudges him into returning it. But fate continues its little game as Abhira and Armaan keep missing each other by seconds. Abhira eventually finds her phone and is left wondering who might have returned it.
Vidya, still on Maira’s trail, sees Armaan from a distance and is stunned. She second-guesses herself, unsure if her eyes are playing tricks. When Abhira spots her lost in thought, she asks what’s wrong. Vidya admits that she’s waiting for Armaan to return, and cheekily asks if Abhira isn’t doing the same. Abhira, with a touch of longing, says she’s waiting for both Armaan and Pookie. To lighten the moment, she suggests they get Vidya’s eyes checked—right after the fest.
Back to Maira, who now insists that Armaan and Geetanjali must join the couple’s game. The host lays out the quirky rule: the female partner will be dressed in disguise, and the male partner has to recognize her. Intrigued by the challenge, Kaveri nudges Abhira to join the game too. She even pushes Ayushman to support her, clearly plotting to bring the two closer together.
Geetanjali and Abhira prepare for the event. In a touching moment, Geetanjali tells Abhira that destiny seems to be orchestrating their meeting. Abhira even helps her fix her outfit, showing budding respect and warmth.
Then comes the grand game. Armaan and Ayushman take the stage with Geetanjali and Abhira, both pairs unknown to each other in the moment. The tension builds as Armaan and Abhira inch closer and closer to facing each other. But just when you think the universe is ready to reunite them, fate pulls its trick again—they cross paths without recognition.
