This episode starts on a bittersweet note with Parashar channeling his inner Bollywood hero—asking Jhanak to sit in the wedding basket so he can carry her all by himself. Mangal offers help, but Parashar, in full dramatic flair, insists he’s got this. Rani reminds everyone that, um, hospital, hello? Meanwhile, Anirudh decides it’s the perfect time to talk about how deeply Parashar loves Jhanak. Romantic third-wheeling much?
Elsewhere, Arshi is packing bags—mental and emotional. When Moon asks where they’re going, Arshi coldly replies that they’re shifting. Shubhankar reminds her that she still has roots in this family. But Arshi, breathing fire, says she’s walking away because Anirudh is marrying Jhanak. She vows to punish him and even declares she’ll never let Moon meet Anirudh again. Shubhankar, trying to play peacemaker, insists Anirudh loves Moon dearly. Moon, poor thing, just wants her dad. Arshi snaps at her to stay quiet and drags her away.
Meanwhile, back at the wedding preps, Anirudh and Jhanak exchange some mushy, stolen glances. He beams with happiness. She looks unsure. He casually drops that Arshi took 20 crores, two houses, and jewelry as alimony—but he’s cool with it because he has Jhanak. Jhanak, ever the realist, tells him he can earn it all back. Rani and Pool arrive to wish the couple well. Veer shares the news that Parashar is leaving the village. Anirudh notices Parashar looks low-key wrecked. Meanwhile, the Arshi vs Shubhankar showdown escalates. Shubhankar tries to reason with her, saying it was her who divorced Anirudh. Arshi claps back that she earned that alimony. Shubhankar makes it clear: Jhanak doesn’t want Anirudh’s money. Arshi mocks him for praising Jhanak. He replies: “I’m speaking the truth.” Arshi calls the family “cheap.” Shubhankar nearly loses it and tells her to pack up and leave—for Moon’s sake, he’s holding back. Moon returns and insists she’s not going anywhere. Arshi says otherwise. Shubhankar says she can’t treat Moon this way. Arshi argues, “She’s my daughter, I’ll decide.”
Across town, Lalon throws a musical tantrum about Apu’s songs not playing in the house. Kajol, tired and done, plays one. Bablu protests Lalon’s behavior. Kajol returns with tea. The lawyer arrives, and boom—Lalon and Kajol sign the marriage papers.
The episode ends on an emotional bombshell. Jhanak and Anirudh sit in silence, post-argument. He says, “After all this, we’re still together.” She says she still can’t believe it. He assures her, “We’ll never be apart.” Irony, thy name is Anirudh. Because the moment she says she’s pregnant, his love vanishes into thin air.
