YRKKH: Is Armaan Just Abhimanyu 2.0? Fans Slam the Déjà Vu Drama! Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Will Maira Become the Unexpected Cupid for Abhira and Armaan?

The current track of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is like a full-blown emotional rollercoaster that fans didn’t see coming. With Udaipur, saree stalls, elopements, and surprise dance reunions in the mix, the makers seem to be going all-in—whether viewers are onboard or not.

Armaan Returns After 7 Years—But for Whom?

Maira’s rebellious streak becomes the tipping point. Armaan, who once dismissed the idea of attending her cultural event, is now racing back to Udaipur after seven long years—driven by fear, fatherly instinct, or maybe… unfinished emotional business with Abhira?

Their paths cross—but not their eyes—as they dance unknowingly together at the festival. Hands touch. Sparks fly. But identities stay hidden. It’s classic ITV coincidence, but emotionally potent nonetheless.

Maira Wreaks Havoc, Abhira Bears the Brunt

While Armaan finally reunites with Maira, trouble is brewing at the saree stall. Thanks to a melted ice cream incident (we kid you not), ants crawl over every saree, ruining the business and inviting customer wrath. And guess who the “ice cream culprit” turns out to be? Maira.

Abhira, already stretched thin, lashes out. Geetanjali witnesses the moment and, true to form, blames Abhira without waiting for context. Maira’s crocodile tears seal the deal, and Abhira’s heart shatters all over again.

Armaan Comforts a Crying Stranger—Not Knowing It’s Abhira

In a poetic turn, Armaan comforts a crying woman hidden behind a white curtain—yes, it’s Abhira. He hands over a handkerchief marked with an “A,” and she instantly suspects it’s him. But when she looks around, she only finds Anshuman. Oof. The heartbreak continues.

Meanwhile, Armaan stays to support Maira’s performance and overhears some snide comments about her. He almost loses it but Geetanjali calms him down. The protective father mode is now fully activated.

Fan Corner: Let’s Talk!

We’re curious (and slightly frustrated), so here are some burning questions for YRKKH loyalists:

Do you like the current track?

  • 💔 Too dramatic and far-fetched.
  • 😍 Loving the twist and reunion build-up.
  • 💤 Dragging now, need something fresh.

How can Kaveri Poddar, the head of a prestigious law firm, live such a simple life and still act all zen? Is this a modern fairytale or just another loophole?

Why the sudden character shift in Armaan? From a rational lawyer to emotionally erratic? Are the makers trying to turn him into Abhimanyu 2.0?

Are the writers rehashing old generation tracks for TRPs? Dance reunions, blind consoling, childhood confusion—haven’t we seen this before?
