Anupama 16th June 2025 Written Update: Dhulaayi Woman, Family Drama & Suspicious Curries: Another Day in Anupama Universe. This episode kicks off with full-blown toxicity, as Savita’s husband channels his inner villain by wishing death upon his wife and raising his hand at his own daughter. Real family man material, right? Anupama, being the queen of justice (and dhulai), gives him the slap he deserves and introduces herself as the “dhulai woman” — basically the masked avenger of abused women with a mop in one hand and morals in the other. The husband, now suddenly a reformed saint, swears to behave. Anupama, though, ends up wondering why she keeps poking her nose into everyone’s laundry—literal and emotional.
Switching gears to the “Who Got Prarthana Pregnant?” circus, Vasundhara blames Ansh faster than you can say “DNA test.” Gautam, ever the drama queen, warns that the truth might kill his dad. (Because that’s what this show needed—more heart attacks.) Rahi and the girls defend Ansh like it’s a courtroom drama, while Khyati and Vasundhara continue their anti-Anupama campaign as if she’s the one who handed out pregnancy test kits. Vasundhara also regrets visiting the Shahs, probably because she didn’t get the welcome snacks.
Elsewhere, Anupama has a street-side heart-to-heart with Jaspreet and Bharti. She declines their food offer (she’s on team curd rice tonight) and hears Jaspreet’s juicy gossip—turns out her job suspension vanished because she had blackmail material on her boss. Mumbai survival rule #1: be clever, or be unemployed.
Back in the Poddar warzone, Anil reminds Khyati that Mahi is also Anupama’s daughter (shock and horror), while Parag brings some rare wisdom—if Prarthana is with the Shahs, maybe she actually likes them. But no one listens to the sensible guy, obviously.
At the Shah House, Leela is still holding on to her “kick Prarthana out” agenda like it’s her full-time job. She tries to evict her again, convinced Ansh will only marry if Prarthana vanishes. Kinjal tries to delay the drama, but Prarthana, tired of this mess, decides to leave anyway. Someone give this girl a one-way ticket to peace.
Meanwhile, Pakhi spots Mahi and Prem together and immediately gets flashbacks of Vanraj, Kavya, and the betrayal buffet that was her childhood. Rahi assures her it’s not a sequel, but Pakhi’s trauma goggles are firmly on. She declares she’s living Anupama’s fate, version 2.0.
As the episode winds down, Anupama misses her family while doing chores. Gossip flies as the women whisper about a mystery hero who gave Savita’s husband a well-deserved beatdown. Anupama is stunned—clearly unaware she’s gained a vigilante rep. Jaspreet confirms it: someone’s been roaming the nights like Batman… but with bangles.

Anupama cooks at someone’s house, unaware that fate’s cooking up a twist. Prem arrives to meet the same client and gets a bite of her food. One spoon later, his blood pressure spikes—apparently, Anupama’s hand in the kitchen is still recognizable. Will he taste the past in the curry? Or will the rotis roll out a new round of drama?
