Jhanak 17th June 2025 Written Update: Jeet’s Re-entry. Today in Jhanak written update, the episode opens on a tender note as Rishi encourages Jhanak to focus on her studies so she can earn a college seat in Kolkata. Jhanak, a bit hesitant, confides in him that she knows no one there. Rishi gently reassures her, saying he’ll share his address and that she can reach out once she’s in the city.
Curious, Jhanak asks about Rishi’s family—and then cheekily about his wife. Rishi chuckles, replying that he’s not married yet, but he’s tying the knot in just three weeks. Jhanak, in her playful way, asks to be invited. When she remarks that her results won’t be out by then, Rishi jokes that if the village deity wishes, anything is possible. But Jhanak gets spooked, warning him not to talk lightly about the deity—what if he ends up having to host her in his own home?
Rishi lightheartedly shares that his fiancée is a college professor who could even help Jhanak with her studies. When asked if she’s strict, Rishi calls Aditi “sweet.” As he walks, he stumbles, and Jhanak rushes to steady him. Later, she’s seen playing with goats while Rishi captures the moment on camera.
Elsewhere, Rani invites Jhanak to join them at the river, but Bua sternly tells her to go home. When Rani questions her, Bua snaps back, saying it’s a family matter. Meanwhile, Sakhi tries to convince Nutan to come along too. Nutan hesitates, recalling how the villagers gossip—especially about her. Still, Sakhi urges her to rise above it, reminding her that Mangal and Pool’s marriage announcement is today. The mention of marriage stirs bittersweet memories of Aniruddh in Nutan’s heart.
The festive spirit continues as Jhanak teases the soon-to-be-married couple, Mangal and Pool. Nutan warmly invites Rishi to lunch. Bua, ever suspicious, quietly wonders if Nutan is using Rishi to help Jhanak. Amidst all this, the wedding rituals begin, garlands are exchanged, and Rishi captures it all on camera. Jhanak quips that if any family members object to the marriage today, they’ll have to pay a fine. Rishi wonders aloud—what if they refuse to pay? Nutan responds seriously: in that case, the marriage will be forced to happen.
In another subplot, Putul’s father is seen finalizing the guest list. Tanushree suggests inviting Nilanchan, but he firmly declines. Shurjeet reminds him that Nilanchan is Rishi’s elder brother. Still, Indumati bitterly notes that her son betrayed the family.
At a different household, Ishani reflects on her past. She asks Raj to help serve food, but he refuses. Pralay instructs her to bring it to the table. As she does, Jeet notices her and comments that she looks familiar—maybe from Simulbuni? Ishani denies it nervously. But Jeet insists, recalling memories of the village fair and saying he’s sure it’s her. When Pihu ominously predicts that the girl in Jeet’s story will be thrown out by her husband if he finds out the truth, Ishani drops a bowl, clearly shaken. Though she’s scolded by others, Jeet tells them to go easy on her. Ishani, meanwhile, silently wonders what fate has in store—realizing Jeet is close to uncovering her secret.
Later, Rishi compliments Nutan’s delicious cooking. She mentions Jhanak will take him to the lodge. Before leaving, Jhanak asks Rishi to visit the village again, next time with his wife. Rishi tells her to call him if she ever needs help. When Nutan asks if he knows Bhavanipur, Rishi says that’s where his in-laws live—prompting both Rishi and Jhanak to question if Nutan’s husband is somehow connected to Bhavanipur too.

As the rain pours, Rishi urges Jhanak to stay at the lodge for the night. But Jhanak, teary-eyed, refuses. She fears something bad might happen if she stays alone with a stranger in the dark.
