Bhagya Lakshmi fans are fuming — and rightfully so. Just when we thought Rishi had moved on, built a family, and embraced a calm life with Lakshmi, he’s back to singing praises of his so-called eternal love with Malishka.

In the latest episode, Rishi and Lakshmi have an intense confrontation. And out of nowhere, Rishi starts defending his past with Malishka like it’s still a fresh wound. He tells Lakshmi that he only married Malishka to keep her heart. Wait—what? Since when did emotional manipulation become a noble cause?

Lakshmi, standing there with tears in her eyes, calmly questions his logic. Is it normal to marry someone just to not hurt them? Isn’t that wrong in itself? Rishi doesn’t have a strong answer—he simply claims that Lakshmi doesn’t understand the bond he shared with Malishka.

He then spirals into a lengthy sermon about Malishka’s loyalty. How she always supported him. How she never lied to him. How Lakshmi supposedly betrayed him and destroyed everything around him. The cherry on top? Rishi accuses Lakshmi of snatching away his parents.

Yes, that’s what he said. While Lakshmi stands there heartbroken, he keeps repeating it like a broken record — that she ruined his life.

The bitterness pours out of him, and he doesn’t hold back. He calls his love for Malishka “true love” and claims he was “trapped” into marrying Lakshmi. He insists that Malishka and he had a bond built on trust, and even justifies that Malishka sacrificed her love by giving him up to Lakshmi to save his life.

Kavya asks Malishka what did she do. Malishka tells that she has broken Rishi to get him back, she has done many evil things and this isn’t love. Kavya tells that Malishka loves Rishi. Malishka tells that she isn’t looking for love, but her security. She wants a man who protects and loves her. She tells that it’s a struggle to get Rishi. She finds it impossible. Kavya asks what is she saying.

Malishka tells that Rishi used to stay frustrated with Lakshmi, but now he has fallen in love with her. She regrets that she forced Rishi to marry Lakshmi. She tells that she went to Rishi and convinced him with emotional blackmail. She cries over her past mistakes. She asks Kavya to think of her pain and suffering. Kavya asks what happened next. Malishka narrates the next series of events.

She tells that Rishi fell in love with Lakshmi, and forgot Malishka. She feels she has got defeated to Lakshmi. She tells that she has done a lot to separate Rishi and Lakshmi. Kavya asks her to admit what she did. Malishka unburdens herself by confessing her crime of getting Neelam killed. Kavya is shocked to know it. Malishka tells that she framed Lakshmi in the crime, and this has happened.

She adds that she is feeling guilty over her bad actions, as she didn’t get Rishi till now. She tells that she wants Rishi to madly love her. She admits that she is drugging Rishi to get close to him. She finds Rishi’s love missing from her life. She tells that she is pregnant with someone else’s child. She feels miserable and tired of her life’s shocks. She vents her depressed feelings. Kavya consoles her.

She tells that she can understand Malishka. She encourages Malishka to be a strong girl like before and change her fate. She asks Malishka to think about her future and stop worrying, because Lakshmi is jailed and she is out of their lives. Malishka agrees. She tells that she is failing to focus on her future. She feels hurt and guilty over her crime. She tells that she isn’t a killer, but she has killed Neelam.

She adds that she had cut the chandelier rope and killed Neelam. Mamta comes to the room and gets the tea for her. She seems to have heard Malishka’s confession. She apologizes and tells that she will come later. Kavya asks her if she heard something. Mamta lies to her. Malishka stops Mamta and bribes her. Mamta takes the money and praises Malishka. She leaves.

Malishka asks Kavya to forget Mamta and just listen to her. She tells that she isn’t finding peace. She wants to go out and confess her crime. Kavya asks her not to be mad. Malishka tells that she did too wrong. Kavya asks her to stop it, else she will lose everything. Malishka doesn’t listen. Kavya asks her to think about herself. She tells that Malishka will land up in jail if she confesses the truth.

Kavya tells that she will call up Kiran. Malishka tells that Kiran can’t stop her. Kavya asks her to come to senses. Malishka tells that she was feeling proud of her fate, but now she is sunk in guilt. On the other hand, Rishi tells Lakshmi that Malishka never got her love. He praises Malishka. He tells the truth that Malishka is far better than Lakshmi, she always supported him, married him for Rohan’s sake, and she truly loved him.

He blames Lakshmi for always snatching his love, faith, parents and peace. He tells that Malishka gave him love and faith, and also her entire life. Lakshmi asks him if he loves Malishka so much. She questions his love. He asks how can she question him, when she has played with his emotions. Malishka tells that she has done a lot to win the challenge given to Lakshmi, she has won Rishi, but if she doesn’t want Rishi, then its all meaningless. She feels she doesn’t love Rishi now.

Kavya asks Malishka not to torture herself. She consoles Malishka. She asks Malishka to accept the truth, Rishi loved Malishka and then Lakshmi. She adds that Rishi can love someone else too. Malishka asks her not to judge Rishi. She defends Rishi. She differentiates Rishi’s love for Lakshmi and her. She mentions that Rishi truly loves Lakshmi, and this is bothering her.
