Om’s First Day & A Lesson in Integrity
Om begins his first day at work with excitement, getting all dressed up with Isha’s help. She makes sure he looks perfect before he steps into the real world. At the office, Om is warmly welcomed and shown to his desk. He lights up on seeing his nameplate and quickly video calls Isha to share the moment. Meanwhile, Isha, who is also nervously waiting for her job interview, gets emotional seeing his joy.
But here comes the twist—her interview is at Dhruv’s company, a setup orchestrated secretly by Dhruv. Isha walks in clueless, and the interviewer, guided by Dhruv through headphones, keeps things realistic yet minimal to avoid suspicion. After just a few simple questions, she is offered the job with a starting salary of ₹50,000—leaving her thrilled.
Om Faces a Moral Test
While Om soaks in the joy of his new role, he learns from the bellboy about a frequent visitor connected to his predecessor. Curious, Om allows the man in. The man takes him for a casual tea break, where his real motive is revealed—bribery. He hands Om an envelope stuffed with cash, citing Om’s financial needs and calling it a “gift.”
Om, calm but resolute, returns the envelope. He proudly declares that being Acharya’s son, he cannot and will not tread the corrupt path again. It’s a defining moment for him—one that reaffirms his values and growth.
Gayatri’s Jealousy Brews Again
Back at Ram Bhavan, Gayatri returns home stressed and demands a head massage from Janki. Despite her age and difficulty in climbing stairs, Janki obliges. Om returns and feels uncomfortable seeing this, but Janki lovingly reminds him that she considers Gayatri a daughter too.
Later, Om shares the day’s events with his family. Isha beams with pride and tells him she always knew he’d stay on the right path. She then surprises him with her new job news, leading to an adorable, awkward moment where Om lifts her in joy. But Gayatri watches from a distance, simmering with insecurity.
In her mind, she vows—this isn’t over. She won’t let Isha and Om win. Not so easily. Not while she’s still in Ram Bhavan.
