4 Episodes In, and Fans Are Already Crying Over Harshad Chopda’s Comeback in BALH 4

4 Episodes In, and Fans Are Already Crying Over Harshad Chopda’s Comeback in BALH 4. The Sony TV premiere on June 16 marked not only the return of the beloved romantic franchise but also the much-awaited comeback of Harshad Chopda. Fans didn’t hold back — social media lit up with posts celebrating the onscreen pairing of Harshad’s Rishabh and Shivangi Joshi’s Bhagyashree.

And yes, Kaddu the dog managed to steal a few hearts too.

One viewer summed it up with, “Hits the right chords, the whole vibe is so aesthetic, and the cast is a delight.” Another couldn’t stop gushing about the lead couple’s dreamy first meeting, calling it “beautiful in every frame.”

But more than just pretty visuals, what’s really grabbing attention is the emotional core. Harshad’s performance had long-time fans getting misty-eyed, with many admitting they’d missed his voice and presence on screen. “HARSHAD IS BACK,” one user posted with raw excitement. “Got emotional the moment he entered the frame.”

Shivangi Joshi, too, left a lasting impact as Bhagyashree. Despite this being her first project opposite Harshad, the chemistry was instant — fresh, soft, and naturally flowing. For many fans, it felt like a reunion that never happened before but always should have.

As per early glimpses, Rishabh is an aspiring actor and Bhagyashree is a casting director — which has already led to wild theories about a possible fake marriage twist. And let’s face it, with Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms helming the show, that trope could hit at any moment.

The legacy of Bade Acche Lagte Hai is huge, and Season 4 seems to be well aware of the shoes it has to fill. Thankfully, instead of trying to copy the past, it’s choosing to build a new world — emotionally grounded, visually refined, and packed with slow-burn chemistry.

Mini Review:
A warm, heartfelt start. BALH 4 doesn’t scream for attention — it draws you in. The leads shine, the storytelling feels unforced, and the aesthetics are soothing. If the pilot is any indication, we’re in for a beautiful ride.
