Nutan opens her door only to find half the village standing outside like it’s a late-night panchayat. Veer, ever the torchbearer of paranoia, warns her that Jhanak might help Rishi escape. Nutan, who clearly has no patience for mob gossip, shuts him down and tells everyone to mind their own business and go sleep instead of ruining hers. But of course, Bua can’t resist taking a jab—saying Jhanak and Nutan are sleeping peacefully after destroying everyone else’s peace. Kanka joins in, dragging Jhanak for defending Rishi, because apparently, having empathy is a crime now.
Nutan claps back like a true queen. She reminds them that Jhanak’s only crime is dreaming too big for their narrow minds. If Parashar had been there, she says, he would’ve listened. But alas, logic rarely wins when the village is busy acting like a moral police unit.
Mangal tries to bring “Parashar’s rules” into the argument, but Nutan shuts him down too, pointing out that everyone knows Jhanak is honest—yet no one stood by her.
