Anupama 30th March 2026 Written Update: Anupama Turns Durga

Fan Reactions: Anupama Viewers Lash Out Over Shah Family Chaos and Plot Direction

Fan Reactions: Anupama Viewers Lash Out Over Shah Family Chaos and Plot Direction. The latest storyline of Anupama has stirred up a wave of discontent among longtime fans, and social media is ablaze with sharp opinions. The once-celebrated family drama is now facing criticism for its evolving portrayal of family dynamics, parenting, and the show’s treatment of its titular character.

Many viewers feel the Shah children—especially Toshu, Pakhi, and now even Rahi—have crossed every limit of decency and gratitude. Once the backbone of the narrative, Anupama’s role as a mother is now being questioned for its apparent failures. A large segment of the audience is drawing comparisons between the Shahs and the Kothari family, with the latter being praised for their grounded, respectful, and ethical children. In contrast, the Shah kids are being called out as entitled and emotionally manipulative.

The commentary doesn’t stop there. Several fans are frustrated with the way Anupama’s so-called empowerment arc is unfolding. What was once a journey of independence and identity now feels, to some, like a cycle of endless suffering. From one family to another, Anupama seems to be caught in a loop of chaos, blame, and sacrifice—leaving many to ask: is this really growth, or just glorified pain?

One striking observation came from viewers who questioned the selective morality being projected. Why are only a few characters like Kinjal, Ansh, and Prarthana shown contributing or working, while the rest seem to live off them? This imbalance in responsibility is rubbing audiences the wrong way.

There’s also a strong undercurrent of sarcasm directed at the ongoing plotlines—especially the way generational conflicts are being handled. Some are beginning to feel the show is pushing dated ideologies wrapped in modern packaging, especially when it comes to women working, parental dependency, and emotional manipulation within families.

And while some fans are still rooting for Anupama’s triumph, others are simply exhausted, calling out the repetitive narrative arcs and what they perceive as character assassination of once-strong figures.

In short, Anupama is at a crossroads. The fanbase is watching—some with love, many with frustration—but all with one hope: that the show finds its heart again, before it loses its audience entirely.
