The constable comes and frees Shivansh. Shivansh asks how he can release him. Tanya says that she knows who has helped Shivansh. Shivansh goes to the inspector. His lawyer asks how Shivansh got released when they didn’t get the bail. The inspector says that Shivansh was blamed, but the real culprit has accepted his crime. Shivansh asks why Raunak would confess his crime.
The inspector says that Raunak didn’t confess it. He shows Prarthna to them. Prarthna is behind bars. Shivansh asks her if she is mad to confess the crime when she didn’t do anything. He tells that she did wrong. He asks the inspector to leave Prarthna; she is a victim, not the culprit, and she has saved Smita’s life. He says that either Smita or Raunak has ignited the fire.
The inspector says that Prarthna has come and confessed to the crime. Shivansh praises her that she risks her life and save others. The inspector says that he can’t leave Prarthna when she has confessed. Shivansh angrily goes to scold Prarthna. He feels disappointed with her. He says that she has made the wrong move. Prarthna tells him that she has faith in him, and he will get her bailed out.
He is angry and asks her not to trust him. He says that he won’t save her; she needs to get herself out of this mess. She says that she is an ordinary girl, she isn’t a celebrity or a public figure, or a business person, she won’t lose anything if she gets arrested, but Shivansh has a big name and reputation, and he would have lost everything if his arrest news spread.
He asks her why she wants to act great by making this sacrifice. He says that he is leaving because he is fed up with her. He walks away. Tanya goes with him. He hires a taxi and leaves. Tanya wonders where did he rush. She calls Bua Maa and narrates what happened at the police station. She tells that Shivansh is angry and scolded Prarthna for confessing the crime.
She adds that he left in a rush. She tells that Shivansh just wanted to talk to Prarthna, now she is relieved and happy. She doesn’t want Shivansh to support Prarthna. Tanya defends Prarthna. Bua Maa admits that she doesn’t like Prarthna and she doesn’t want them to unite. She wants Shivansh to marry Sonalika. She says that Sonalika’s dad will ruin Shivansh’s business when Shivansh breaks her heart because of Prarthna. She asks Tanya to understand. Tanya agrees with her.
Shivansh reaches the Zaveri house. He fumes recalling Smita. He turns to leave, and spots a CCTV camera there. Shivansh reaches Mr. Mehra’s place and asks him to help Prarthna. He tells that Mehra is a senior lawyer and he can do the impossible. Mehra asks why did the police arrest Prarthna. Shivansh explains the case to him. He tells that Prarthna confessed the crime to save him, and he has proof in her favor. He asks her to make the bail papers ready.
He says that he has seen the CCTV footage, two men were pouring the kerosene on the walls of the Zaveri mansion. Mehra tells that if he has the CCTV footage, then they can rescue Prarthna. Shivansh gives him the pendrive. Tanya comes home and speaks to Bua Maa. Bua Maa is glad that Prarthna isn’t in Shivansh’s life now. She wants them to stay distant forever. They wait for Shivansh.
The doorbell rings. Tanya rushes to open the door. They see Shivansh and smile. Shivansh gets Prarthna along and upsets Bua Maa. He tells that Prarthna had confessed the crime to save him, he has saved her, and he will track the real culprit soon. Bua Maa thinks Prarthna has come back again. She tells him that she is thinking about his life, he always faces troubles, and this has been happening since his marriage happened with Prarthna. She indirectly calls Prarthna a bad shadow.
Shivansh asks her to relax, when she feels tense, if someone has brought bad luck for the family. Prarthna understands what Bua Maa wants to say. She says that she knows what happened. She mentions that her dad is a pandit, and she believes in stars, Shivansh should perform Durga Mata puja to get blessings. She suggests that they keep a havan. Shivansh is ready to do it for the family’s sake. Bua Maa tells that she also planned the same puja and was about to discuss it.
She asks Shivansh to perform the puja. He agrees. Prarthna gets blushed thinking of Shivansh’s words. She remembers their moments. She thinks if Shivansh has fallen in love with her. She gets happy with the thought. Shivansh too thinks of Prarthna. They share a moment.
He goes to sleep. He remembers the footage and wants to punish the real culprit. Raunak speaks to the inspector and learns that Prarthna confessed to the crime to save Shivansh. The inspector also tells him about Shivansh freeing Prarthna. Payal tells Raunak that Shivansh has fallen in love with Shivansh, so she took the blame and saved him.
Raunak says that Bua Maa might have pressurized Prarthna to take the blame. Payal asks Raunak if Prarthna ever told him that she loves him. He says never, but his heart knows she loves him. She asks if his love is one-sided, as he was just Prarthna’s friend. He tells that he loves Prarthna. She leaves. Bua Maa checks the arrangements of the Puja. She gets scared when Sonalika rings her up. She tells Sonalika about the puja.
She mentions Prarthna’s name and then covers it up. She says that she wants to pray for Shivansh’s well-being. Sonalika asks why Bua Maa didn’t call her up to join the puja. She tells that she wants to be a part of every event of Shivansh’s life. Bua Maa makes an excuse and disconnects the call. Sonalika plans to visit Shivansh and surprise him. Prarthna selects a dress for the puja. Shivansh looks for his phone to cover up the fact that he was lost seeing her. She gets his phone. He makes a leave. Prarthna was expecting him to say thanks.
