Tara, always quick to pour gasoline on fire, launches a fresh attack on Savi’s character. She hurls accusations of an affair with Neil, branding Savi unfit to raise the kids. Aniket tries to calm her down, but she silences even him with a harsh outburst.
That’s when Neil steps in.
He firmly tells the family, “Why run away? Let the court decide who the rightful guardian is.” But Srichand scoffs at the idea. He cruelly points out that Savi is suspended from her job and questions her ability to raise the children. With chilling confidence, he announces that Bhagyashree will win custody.
But Savi’s spirit doesn’t break. Her eyes brim with fire as she hits back, accusing Srichand of hypocrisy. She reminds everyone of his role in her husband Rajat’s death. Tara leaps to his defense once again, declaring that only their family deserves the kids.

Srichand says they are all paying for the sins of Bhagyashree’s husband, Rajendra Thakkar. Ten years ago, Rajendra gave testimony that sent Srichand’s father Mahendra Goel to jail for stealing ₹5–6 lakhs. The humiliation led Mahendra to take his own life, and Srichand’s mother soon died of shock. Orphaned and bitter, Srichand vowed revenge. And when the Thakkar family shifted from Mumbai to Nagpur, he saw his chance. He used everything — manipulation, lies, even a video — to target Savi and ruin her bond with the family.
Savi, heartbroken, pleads for Sai’s safety. Srichand says he’ll use Sai to escape — that he will never let her see Savi again.
But Neil doesn’t wait.
He sneaks up and jumps at Srichand, trying to snatch the gun. In the scuffle, Neil is shot near the neck and collapses to the floor. Blood pools beneath him as he loses consciousness.
Sai breaks free and runs into Savi’s arms.
The family is in utter shock. Neil lies motionless.
