The episode opens on a calm yet awkward note at the hospital, where Dr. Sharma confirms to Preet that she is absolutely fine. Aditya, who is also present, is told to return home. As fate would have it, Preet and Aditya bump into each other—yet again. The moment carries their usual sarcastic banter. Aditya, visibly annoyed, tells her to make sure this is the last time she crosses his path. Preet isn’t thrilled either and says she too would rather not see him again. Nisha, observing the tension, quickly ushers Aditya away from the scene.
Nearby, Neeti uses the excuse of making a call to step aside and talk to her friend. Meanwhile, Parineet, who has been handling reports at the hospital, unknowingly hands over Neeti’s report to Dr. Mehta by mistake. Realizing the error, she walks toward the receptionist’s desk—where Neeti is also present but turned away, engaged in her conversation. Preet arrives at the reception around the same time. Neeti, catching a glimpse of someone in the reflection, gets suspicious and starts trailing Preet, unaware that Parineet is standing just a few feet away. In this confusing mix-up, Neeti misses Parineet again but hears a voice—one she instantly recognizes as Parineet’s.
While this near-miss of identities plays out, Sarada calls Preet and insists she return home. Preet assures her she’s on her way. Meanwhile, Neeti is still scanning the hospital, now distracted as she notices Aditya. She’s confused and confrontational, assuming he’s the same Aditya who stole her magazine cover opportunity. On the other hand, Aditya assumes Neeti is bribing voters in her campaign. Their mutual misreading of the situation adds fuel to their growing misunderstanding.
Elsewhere, Gurinder is busy making plans of her own. She calls Kanika, urging her to fix Aditya’s alliance with Nisha. Kanika agrees. As Parineet walks by, she narrowly misses Neeti again, but her voice gives her away, and Neeti grows more suspicious about her possible return.
Aditya, now driving home, is lost in thought. He reflects on a recent moment at the temple, where a priest handed him a dhaga (sacred thread) and mentioned that Preet had prayed for him. The priest insisted that Aditya give it to his wife. Aditya awkwardly responded that Preet isn’t his wife—but the priest seemed to know more than he let on. This encounter clearly lingers in Aditya’s mind.
Meanwhile, Parineet and Preet unknowingly try to board the same cab to return home. They fail to see each other again. Preet overhears Parineet mention her destination and wonders why someone else is headed to the same place. Aditya, meanwhile, speeds off, unknowingly leaving Nisha behind. She is deeply hurt and feels ignored.
Parineet reaches the neighborhood where Preet lives. Her friend calls her, panicking. She tells Parineet not to go inside the house, fearing it might affect her mental peace or trigger past trauma. The friend feels guilty for not being there with Parineet. Despite the warning, Parineet says she won’t go inside, just wants to catch a glimpse from a distance. Back at home, Sushama confronts Aditya, asking why he is venting his anger on her. He denies being angry but reminds her that he doesn’t believe in marriage. Sushama, emotional and stubborn, tells him that she’s seen more life than he has. She urges him to trust her and marry the girl she’s chosen—she’s confident the girl is perfect for him. Surprisingly, Aditya softens and says he will marry whomever she chooses. Sushama is overjoyed and mentions that the girl will be attending an upcoming award function.
Inside Preet’s home, Sarada and Preet have their own heated exchange. Preet is furious that Sarada fixed her wedding without telling her. She reminds her that she doesn’t even like the guy. Sarada defends him, saying he’s a good man. Preet is baffled how her mother can assess someone’s character without even meeting him. Sarada conveniently excuses herself after getting a phone call, while Parineet—still watching from outside—fails to see Preet. She decides that no one inside the house seems familiar to her and chooses to leave silently.
Meanwhile, Nisha returns home, only to overhear Gurinder talking about her wedding arrangements. Shocked, Nisha argues with her and even burns a photograph in anger. She storms off to tell Neeti everything. Neeti, already protective, confronts Gurinder, warning her not to make life decisions on behalf of her daughter. Later, Nisha sees Aditya’s photo and feels regret. Despite earlier rejecting the idea of marrying him, something about seeing him now makes her rethink that decision.
