Mangal Lakshmi 27th June 2025 Written Update: Mangal Forced Into Kapil’s Engagement

Mangal Lakshmi 27th June 2025 Written Update: Mangal Forced Into Kapil’s Engagement. Mangal Lakshmi: Mangal Dragged Into Engagement Drama, Kusum’s Shock and Sass Unleashed.

Today’s Mangal Lakshmi episode served drama with an extra pinch of salt. It all began when Shanti, who clearly woke up with zero patience today, told Mangal to prove her promise was real by sitting for the pooja. Mangal, trapped between guilt and helplessness, quietly sat down, wondering how her life turned into a live telecast of betrayal and forced rituals.

Meanwhile, Sowmya was busy playing detective. She couldn’t wrap her head around how Pratima was suddenly fixing Kapil’s engagement with someone else. She asked Adit if he knew who Kapil’s fiancée was. Adit, with his usual clueless charm, shook his head and said he didn’t know but was certain of one thing – Mangal would never agree to marry someone like Kapil. Well, at least someone still believes in her sanity.

Just then, Kusum entered the scene, adding her own spice to this already fiery situation. She asked Adit if it was true Kapil was getting engaged. Adit confirmed it and mentioned the engagement pooja happening today. Kusum felt hurt that Pratima didn’t inform her but, in classic Kusum style, thought maybe Pratima was just busy. She dialled Pratima, determined to hear the truth from her directly, while Sowmya silently vowed to dig out the entire story no matter what.

Inside Kapil’s house, things were rolling downhill for Mangal. Kapil tried calming a visibly anxious Pratima, assuring her that Mangal was too naive to understand what was happening and had already sat for the rituals. Pratima, seeing her plan unfold smoothly, wasted no time in dragging Kapil to sit next to Mangal. The pandit began chanting while Mangal sat with tears threatening to spill, and Kapil looked like he was attending a punishment class rather than his own engagement.

Pratima closed her eyes, silently praying that her forced plans go ahead without a glitch. Her phone rang mid-pooja; it was Kusum, but she ignored it like it was a spam call. Kusum, suspicious about the unanswered call, decided enough was enough. She grabbed her prasad and asked her auto driver to rush her to Kapil’s house because, as she believed, blessings should arrive before curses.

Back at the pooja, Pratima applied kumkum on Mangal and Kapil’s foreheads with a forced smile plastered on her face. Mangal felt numb, her mind screaming questions she couldn’t ask out loud. Pratima then performed their aarti while Shanti declared Mangal as their new daughter-in-law. Pratima sweetly replied that Mangal was like a daughter to her, though her actions felt more like tying up a goat for sacrifice than treating her like family.

Unable to hold herself together, Mangal quietly slipped away to the washroom. She stared into the mirror with swollen eyes, removed her bangles and necklace, and tried wiping her tears as if they were just dust particles. Shanti knocked, asking why she left mid-pooja. Mangal faked composure, replying she would be out soon. Luckily for her, Shanti got a call and left.

Pratima, meanwhile, was busy celebrating her evil genius in her mind, thinking now that Mangal was tied to Kapil, no power in the world could separate them. But fate had a surprise lined up. Kusum walked in right then, radiant in her temple glow, and asked why she wasn’t informed about such good news. She even brought prasad to bless the couple, determined to meet her new daughter-in-law.

Mangal entered just then, her heart sinking to her knees seeing Kusum. Kapil noticed Kusum too but got conveniently distracted by a phone call, because why face drama when you can escape it? Shanti, noticing Kusum, grew visibly uncomfortable and tried sneaking away, but Kusum spotted her in seconds. She asked why Shanti was there when Mangal had told them she was unwell and at her own house.

Before Shanti could form an excuse, Mangal entered again. Kusum’s glare could pierce mountains as she questioned why Mangal was at Kapil’s house. Shanti suggested they move inside to avoid a public scene, but the emotional earthquake was unstoppable. Inside, Kusum lashed out, accusing Mangal of lying to them. Mangal tried defending herself, saying she never lied, but Kusum was on full sass mode, calling her a liar without listening.

Shanti immediately stepped in, shielding Mangal from Kusum’s taunts. She told Kusum she had called Mangal there herself because she was staying at Pratima’s house temporarily. Mangal added that Shanti’s house was under renovation, hence the arrangement. Kusum, still seething, asked why Mangal didn’t bring Shanti to their own house instead.

Shanti coldly said she refused to come because Mangal had no ties with Kusum’s family anymore. Her words were dipped in poison, and Kusum felt each syllable like a stab. She sarcastically thanked Shanti for clarifying that their relationship was over. Mangal tried pleading with her to listen just once, but Kusum, filled with hurt and rage, walked away saying she saw everything with her own eyes.

The episode closed with Shanti comforting Mangal, assuring her that she would explain everything to Kusum later. But Mangal’s heart felt heavy as stone, realising that no matter how many poojas she sat through, her life’s curses weren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
