The episode begins with Rishi on a phone call with Krishnand, who excitedly talks about his newborn baby. Krishnand casually asks Rishi whether something happened in Simulboni, as a local boy mentioned a major incident involving Rishi. Rishi lies smoothly, saying nothing happened, and disconnects the call before his truth spills out like rice grains from a torn bag.
Jhanak enters with a shy smile, holding a tray of food for Rishi like a newlywed bride trying to please her grumpy husband. But Rishi’s cold eyes slice through her fragile hopes. He snaps at her, warning her not to act smart, adding bitterly that he never asked her to bring food. He declares she has no right to enter his room. Behind his anger is a tortured mind wondering if he will have to live with this lie forever.
Trying to lighten the tense atmosphere, Jhanak gathers her courage and asks softly if there will be a grand dance performance at his real wedding. The question lands like a slap on Rishi’s ego. He tells her that’s none of her business. Tears brim in her eyes as she asks why he’s so angry with her when she hasn’t even revealed their truth to anyone. She narrates a story with a twist, masking their pain as fiction, admitting she cried while watching the movie because it mirrored her own life. Rishi, still stone-hearted, accuses her of trying to blackmail him emotionally.
Meanwhile, in another corner of the house, Indumati, Tanushree, and Payal are engaged in the nation’s top priority task: budgeting wedding outfits. Payal, being the spendthrift queen,demands they increase the budget. Indumati shuts her down, saying they can’t. Tanushree tries to calm both ends. Their bickering is interrupted by Rishi’s angry roar. They rush to see him raging about Jhanak entering his room. He warns that she has no right to step there and storms back in, leaving them stunned at his volcanic mood swings.
Elsewhere, Anjana suggests giving sweets to Rishi’s family. Anirudh agrees and offers to visit them. Aditi joins them for breakfast. Arshi, with her salty sarcasm, comments that Anirudh is sad Aditi will leave the house soon to live an ordinary life. Aditi, calm as always, says she knows how to adjust. Arshi finds her humility suffocating and retorts that this adjusting nature is exactly why she’s worried. Aditi defends Rishi’s family, saying they are good people. Anirudh supports her, praising Rishi as a good man. Arshi scoffs, saying Rishi’s family is lucky to get Aditi. Aditi, feeling awkward, says she’s getting late and leaves.
In the village, Parashar is raging like a storm. He scolds Nutan for stopping him from confronting Bua. Nutan pleads with him not to harm Bua, but Parashar is done with everyone’s silence and hypocrisy. He demands to know what Jhanak said. Nutan reveals the bitter truth – Jhanak was forced to marry Rishi. Bua taunts Nutan, saying she has grown wings since Parashar’s arrival. Parashar snaps back, questioning how the villagers ruined Jhanak’s life for their twisted honour. He vows to find Rishi, even though he lost his contact while fleeing. Bua fumes at Nutan’s revelations, but Kanka drags her away, trying to calm her down.
Back in Kolkata, Aditi arrives at Rishi’s house, glowing like a bride. Jhanak’s heart sinks deeper seeing Aditi, her silent rival. Aditi touches elders’ feet, earning blessings. She notices Jhanak and asks about her. Indumati reveals Jhanak is a maid Rishi brought from Simulboni. Aditi is shocked Rishi never mentioned her. Tanushree tries to brush off the awkwardness, saying they needed extra help. Indumati asks Jhanak to take good care of Aditi, while Aditi silently wonders why Rishi kept this from her.
In another dark corner of the storyline, Jeet tries to trap Pihu in his vile web. He pretends to be a caring elder, offering her food and alcohol. Pihu feels dizzy and wants to leave, but Jeet forcibly pushes her onto the bed, trying to touch her inappropriately. Pihu, terrified, pushes him away, but Jeet blocks her. Just then, Ramesh silently helps Pihu escape, saving her from Jeet’s disgusting intentions. As Pihu runs out, Jeet sits there, drunk and cursing, his true demonic face revealed.
Back at Rishi’s house, the day passes with silent undercurrents. Jhanak notices Aditi’s wedding outfits being admired by the ladies. Her eyes well up, wondering why it hurts so much to see Rishi moving on with someone else when she was never supposed to be in his life in the first place.

Today’s episode felt like a punch to the gut, layered with helplessness, silent heartbreak, and society’s suffocating expectations. Rishi’s coldness is becoming more brutal with each passing day, while Jhanak’s innocent questions pierce straight through viewers’ hearts. Meanwhile, Jeet’s vile act deserves nothing but disgust and legal punishment.
The roasting award goes to Payal for thinking raising a wedding budget is India’s top national crisis. A close second is Rishi for being a walking iceberg despite knowing Jhanak’s truth.
Overall, it was an intense episode that blended pain, betrayal, and hidden truths, leaving viewers desperate to see when Rishi will finally drop his cruel facade and acknowledge Jhanak’s silent love.
