The episode begins with Mukul Chadda charging in with his daily dose of negativity, cornering Rishabh and demanding answers. He taunts, “This house is under Bhagyashree’s name. How did her ‘husband’ and his entire sasural land here overnight like uninvited relatives at a wedding feast?” Vinay, ever the clueless father, looks thunderstruck and blurts out, “If she didn’t marry them, what is this charade about?”
Meanwhile, Sowmya (who honestly deserves an award for her suspicious instincts) scolds her brother Karthik: “Your sister has fooled us again. We trusted her and look what happened!” Mukul piles on, mocking Bhagyashree’s upbringing as if he’s the ultimate moral police. Unable to tolerate this daily soap villain monologue, Vinay’s BP shoots up, and he collapses dramatically. Rishabh, playing hero, slaps Mukul across the face to defend Bhagyashree’s honour. Go Rishabh, the slap that echoed louder than Mukul’s taunts.
Mukul, not one to back down easily, demands to see the marriage certificate. Sowmya joins the demand squad. Rishabh quickly realises that Mukul isn’t exposing Bhagyashree for justice but out of personal vendetta. He reveals to Vinay that Bhagyashree had once slapped Mukul for his misbehaviour, and this is just petty revenge. Rishabh roars: “Who will you believe – your daughter or this creepy society secretary and his chamcha friend?” He throws Mukul out with full hero swag, promising to show the marriage certificate to shut everyone’s mouths.
Despite Rishabh’s efforts, Vinay refuses to talk and walks away in silent disappointment. Rishabh calls Bhagyashree, updating her about Mukul’s accusations. Bhagyashree is devastated knowing her father’s health is suffering because of this drama. Rishabh consoles her, promising to arrange the marriage certificate somehow, like a true jugaadu husband.
Bhagyashree, who was busy in an important meeting, excuses herself citing family emergency. She rushes home only to find Vinay packing his bags to leave. Padma pleads with him to wait until Rishabh shows the certificate. Rishabh calms Bhagyashree down and tells her to follow his plan to handle the situation.
But Vinay remains stubborn and emotionally blackmails Bhagyashree, “Why stay in a place where your character is questioned daily?” To stop him, Bhagyashree and Rishabh stage a fake marital spat in the living room, screaming about the certificate. Their drama attracts the entire family like bees to honey. Padma rushes to stop them, crying out, “Don’t fight, please!” Rishabh storms off dramatically saying he’s going for a walk, while Padma runs after him offering to join.
Here comes the episode’s comedic gold moment. Rishabh tells Padma to wear track pants for the walk. She initially resists, but seeing the tension, she agrees. Bhagyashree thanks Rishabh for his quick thinking. Meanwhile, Padma spots Vinay putting his luggage back in the cupboard, relieved that he’s not leaving. But Vinay clarifies coldly, “I’m staying only until tomorrow’s society meeting. I want to hear the truth myself.” Classic Indian dad move – emotional but stubborn like stale gulab jamuns.
Karthik compliments Padma’s sporty look, and Vinay gets a tiny jealousy attack. To prove he’s still the alpha, he agrees to join them on the walk too.
During their walk, Padma consoles Rishabh, saying they shouldn’t care what society thinks. Rishabh, spotting gossiping society aunties nearby, decides to win them over. He slips into full manipulative charm mode, narrating his sad ‘I work on a ship far away and just returned to win back my wife’s family’ story. He also exposes Mukul’s petty vendetta against Bhagyashree. The ladies immediately switch sides faster than WiFi routers, assuring him they support him and don’t need any certificate.
Back at home, Bhagyashree gets ready for dinner with her family, looking radiant. Rishabh gives her a filmy compliment: “You look beautiful, wear a black bindi to ward off nazar.” Vinay and Padma see this tender moment. Karthik announces that Sowmya isn’t feeling well, but Sowmya, refusing to be left out of the gossip train, insists they all go ahead.
As the family leaves, Sowmya smirks to herself, plotting like an evil saas, “I’ll find out what truth Bhagyashree is hiding.”

Today’s episode was the perfect cocktail of family drama, comedic roast, and emotional manipulation. Rishabh once again proved he is the ultimate street-smart husband who will fight the world for his wife’s izzat. Bhagyashree, however, needs to stop relying on him to clean up her lies. Vinay’s emotional meltdown and moral lectures remain repetitive, but his vulnerable father moments added depth.
The real MVP today was Padma in track pants – her shocked expressions and reluctant sporty walk gave viewers a much-needed comic relief amid heavy emotional scenes. Mukul continues to be the ultimate pain in the society’s WhatsApp group, but his roast-worthy dialogues add spice to the script.
Overall, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain delivered a gripping mix of family honour, society reputation, and marital manipulation with its signature filmy flair. Viewers can look forward to tomorrow’s high-voltage meeting where truths will be exposed, tears will flow, and Mukul will smirk like a villain enjoying his paani puri.
