The Chairman, in his old-school honesty mode, clarifies to everyone that Bhagyashree had joined their company as a single woman but later submitted her marriage certificate. Hence, he didn’t update her husband’s name in the records. Problem solved, right? Not really. Rishabh turns to Bhagyashree, puffed up with pride, and smirks, “Didn’t I tell you to trust me?”
Of course, Bhagyashree looks like she’d rather trust a snake. Nitya, ever the sass queen, scolds everyone for wasting her precious Sunday over such trivial gossip. As people leave, Padma tells Vinay everything is sorted. Lajjo takes the opportunity to flatter Rishabh, calling him “one in a million” and Bhagyashree super lucky to have such a gem. Outside, Karthik finds Rishabh lying with his pillow and blanket. Both men bond over their misery, with Rishabh reminiscing about his carefree bachelor life. They set up camp in the hall, and Rishabh wonders what he did so wrong to deserve this punishment from Bhagyashree.
Elsewhere, Nitya discusses with Sonia how Rishabh was the perfect choice to act as Bhagyashree’s husband, and he played his part brilliantly in the meeting. Later, Nitya learns Bhagyashree didn’t come to the office and calls her. Bhagyashree, still reeling from her revelation, answers with a sigh and confesses, “Rishabh isn’t gay like everyone thought.” Nitya is stunned, but before the conversation continues, Padma interrupts.
Padma cheerfully insists Bhagyashree select a saree and jewellery for Meenakshi’s wedding, but Bhagyashree says she already has everything. Vinay snatches the passports, demanding answers. Bhagyashree looks ready to collapse under the truth, and Rishabh steps in like a Bollywood hero, saving the day with his golden lies. He claims the passports Sowmya saw are old and shows Vinay new passports, saying they were planning a US trip. When Sowmya questions Rishabh about his bank passbook, he calls it outdated, saying they now have a joint account. Padma tells Sowmya to drop her suspicions, and everyone leaves for their rooms. Bhagyashree immediately corners Rishabh, demanding why he lied again. He calmly replies he did it for her father’s health, suggesting she confess everything when Vinay is calmer. Rishabh acknowledges how much she loves her father and that she’s been suffering this punishment silently for five years, but she must ensure he never suffers when he learns the truth. Just then, Padma enters the room, interrupting the intense moment.
