Today’s episode was a messy platter of emotional blackmail, shattered egos, forced moving-on lessons, and a few savage roasts of life itself.
Kaveri threatened to kill herself if Armaan dared to reveal Pookie’s truth to Abhira. Imagine living rent-free in someone’s life to the extent that they use death as a weapon to keep you silent. Armaan, being his usual ‘knight-in-guilt-ridden-armour’ self, tried reasoning that Abhira deserved to know Pookie’s truth. But Kaveri simply dropped another bomb: she told Armaan that Anshuman will keep Abhira happy. That left Armaan staring into space as if someone stole his leftover biryani from the fridge. Shook and speechless.
Meanwhile, at the Poddar household, another circus was running. Manoj asked Manisha to pick ornaments for Tanya. Because what else do rich families do other than distributing gold like chocolates? Sanjay told Krish that he had booked honeymoon tickets to Paris. But Krish, being the ultimate budget king, refused. He said he’s already wasting enough money and time on the wedding itself. Honestly, savage. The boy deserves an award for “Most Relatable Groom of the Year.”
While this family drama brewed, Tanya visited the Poddars and decided to play Cupid-cum-villain. She asked Kiara about Abhira’s love life and then casually announced that Anshuman has fallen for Abhira but she keeps breaking his poor heart. Manisha jumped in, declaring that Abhira and Armaan are made for each other. Manoj wondered why Abhira and Armaan’s names came up again, to which Manisha served her typical filmy line that they’re “meant to be together.”
Kiara, on the other hand, was done with all this love triangle nonsense. She told everyone that girls of this house can’t keep waiting endlessly. She advised Abhira to move on because she deserves happiness too. For once, Kiara was the sensible voice.
Armaan, meanwhile, was drowning in guilt. He felt both Abhira and Geetanjali were suffering because of him. Vidya tried consoling him, asking him to focus on Abhira’s well-being instead. Armaan awkwardly asked Vidya if her vision had returned, showing how he thinks of random things in the middle of emotional breakdowns.
Abhira, on her side, was lost in thoughts of Armaan. Their meeting turned into a brawl when Armaan saw a bed in her workspace and questioned it. Abhira coldly asked him to mind his own business. He tried telling her that she should move on like Kaveri and Vidya wanted. But Abhira lashed out, accusing him of pushing her to move on only because he was engaged now. Armaan, wounded, told her not to doubt him and declared that he didn’t regret their divorce. Abhira retorted that if he really didn’t regret it, he should stop pretending to care. Ouch. That one sentence broke Armaan to the point that he cried after she walked away.
Abhira later regretted waiting for Armaan all this while. Anshuman consoled her like a golden retriever ready to cheer up his sad human. Abhira decided to move on with Anshuman, who promised to bring happiness into her life. While Abhira tried to stitch her heart back together, Armaan was having his own meltdown, thinking about how Kaveri forced him to lie about Pookie, making him feel unworthy of Abhira’s love.
Tanya was over the moon for Anshuman. When she asked if he was sure about Abhira, he replied that Abhira had finally decided to move on. Kaveri, Kajal, and Kiara celebrated Abhira’s decision like India won a world cup. Kaveri danced internally at Abhira’s choice and even asked Vidya to accept Abhira and Anshuman’s relationship. The Poddars, upon hearing the news, were shocked. Manisha refused to believe that Abhira was truly moving on.
Meanwhile, Armaan discussed with Manoj about regaining the Poddar house and property. He wanted Abhira, Kaveri, and Vidya to return to the house. Manoj dropped a reality check, telling him that Abhira was about to get engaged to Anshuman and would be shifting to his place. Armaan lost his cool, but quickly put up a fake smile saying he was happy for her. Everyone could see his pain hidden behind that forced acceptance.
