Sowmya, ever eager to instigate, asks Ishana if Adit went to Mangal’s engagement. Ishana fumes, calling Kapil an evil man. Sowmya adds fuel, telling Kusum how Mangal got Adit humiliated before his own colleagues. Kusum looks shattered, her son’s pride crushed so publicly.
Elsewhere, Mangal sits with Kapil, looking somber. She tells him that while Adit’s behaviour at the engagement was wrong, Kapil too crossed a line by raising his hand on Adit in front of Ishana. She reminds him gently that Ishana loves her father and must be feeling torn. Kapil lowers his gaze, guilt flickering across his face.
