In Mangal Lakshmi, today’s episode flows with emotions and hidden heartbreaks. Mangal visits her ex-in-laws’ house one last time to collect her belongings. But this isn’t just about packing clothes or memories – it is about closing a chapter with dignity.
Mangal arrives with Kapil by her side, leaving her ex-husband Adit fuming with jealousy. Watching Mangal move on so gracefully with Kapil is too much for him to digest. He stands there like a silent Devdas, burning from within, realising what he has lost.
Before leaving, Mangal bows down to take her ex-mother-in-law Kusum’s blessings. That moment isn’t just emotional for the family but touches every viewer’s heart. Kusum, too, can’t hold back her tears. Their bond over the years has become more like that of a mother and daughter than just in-laws. Even today, Kusum wishes only happiness for Mangal.
Mangal, however, is known for her tears. Be it happiness or pain, her eyes speak her heart. Today is no different. She is leaving her past behind, but with utmost respect.
Kusum’s heart melts seeing Mangal leave. She expresses her wish for Mangal’s wedding with Kapil to happen from their house so she can send her off as a daughter. But Mangal gently refuses, saying her mother, Shanti Devi, wants her to marry from her own home. Kusum, however, doesn’t give up. She calls Shanti Devi and requests her to let Mangal’s bidaai happen from her ex-in-laws’ house so they can give her blessings like a true daughter.
Meanwhile, Adit continues to sulk in the corner, jealousy and regret clouding his mind. His life has moved nowhere while Mangal moves ahead with dignity.
In another scene, Sudesh Ji faints upon overhearing about Mangal and Kapil’s upcoming wedding. But Mangal, with her calm care and quick response, helps him recover without even needing the doctor. Sudesh Ji blesses Mangal wholeheartedly, leaving everyone teary-eyed again.
While Kusum stands by Mangal’s side, ready to do her kanyadaan with love and pride, Soumya watches all this with a hidden agenda. She doesn’t want Mangal to be happy and is already planning a big drama to ruin Mangal’s wedding.
