Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th July 2025 Written Update: Who’s Fooling Whom

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th July 2025 Written Update: Who’s Fooling Whom. Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan’s Silent Exit and Abhira’s Forced Smiles – Who’s Fooling Whom?

Abhira sits alone, lost in her thoughts, wondering why Armaan hasn’t returned yet. She gives herself a stern pep talk that he’s not a child and doesn’t need her worrying like a mother hen. So, she decides to shift focus and eat her noodles in peace. Honestly, at least someone is getting fed in this heartbreak saga.

Meanwhile, Armaan is on a full-blown guilt trip. He convinces himself he’s unworthy of Abhira, believing Anshuman is a far better choice. In his mind, he’s a curse to her happiness, and letting her go is the noble thing to do. Fair point to Armaan for self-realisation, but running away instead of facing the truth doesn’t exactly earn him hero points either. If only he’d stop deciding her life for her like a tragic poet on a lonely hill.

When Abhira finally finds him, he refuses to stay and flees to his so-called “special place.” There, Kiara pops up like an unannounced life audit. She’s surprised he didn’t call her even once in seven years – fair question, Kiara. Armaan simply asks how she is doing, avoiding her disappointment like a pro escapist. Kiara reveals that after he left, their chorus group dissolved. More importantly, she tells him that Abhira would often come there just to cry for him. Armaan listens, struck silent, as Kiara adds that Abhira made the right decision to move on with Anshuman because happiness is what she truly deserves. Ouch. That honest truth pierces him deeper than any taunt.

Realising his life is spiralling fast, Armaan writes a heartfelt note for Abhira. He admits he never gathered the courage to tell her the truth about Myra. Just then, Myra arrives with Geetanjali and Dadu. Seeing Myra lights up his weary face, a rare moment of warmth in his gloomy life. Geetanjali, always strategic, worries Abhira might snatch Myra away. Armaan reassures her that he hasn’t spilled the beans. Geetanjali thanks him as if he did her a massive favour, proving once again that gratitude in this family is just another transactional deal.

Meanwhile, Dadu chats about a wedding they need to attend, and Myra, in her childlike innocence, demands to join. Armaan agrees, letting her enjoy moments he knows he cannot afford to give consistently.

On the other side of the house, wedding vibes are brimming. Kaveri is elated about Abhira’s engagement and orders Vidya to stitch her blouse. Vidya, engulfed in her own emotional tsunami, bluntly says she’s not interested. Tanya enters, carrying Abhira’s engagement dress, trying to cheer her up and praising Anshuman as the perfect man who would go to any lengths for her. Kaveri, forever delusional about others’ happiness, claims Abhira is excited. But Tanya notices Abhira’s gloomy face and wonders why she looks like she’s heading to a funeral rather than an engagement.

Their awkward moment is interrupted when Anshuman calls Kaveri, asking her to meet him urgently. Clearly, Mr. Good Boy wants everything perfect, oblivious to the fact that the bride-to-be is mentally checked out.

Meanwhile, Armaan faces another blow as he gets fired from his job. Reality slaps him hard when Myra asks for her new school dress, books, and bag for the upcoming session. Geetanjali, unfazed by his crisis, hands him a cab bill to pay, promising she’ll return it later. Seriously, if promises could be encashed, Armaan would be a billionaire by now. His eyes fill with worry, realising his savings are draining fast and Myra’s needs are only rising.

Back at his old workplace, Manoj meets Armaan secretly, updating him on Abhira and Anshuman’s engagement. He pokes at his hidden feelings, suggesting Armaan still loves Abhira. Armaan shuts down the conversation immediately. Denial seems to be his chosen religion lately.

While Armaan wrestles with joblessness and emotional wreckage, Abhira is having her own moral meltdown. She realises she’s getting engaged to Anshuman out of spite against Armaan. Her heart isn’t ready, and her mind isn’t convinced. Gathering courage, she heads to talk to Anshuman but is left speechless seeing his innocent excitement as he finalises his engagement outfit with Kaveri. She can’t bring herself to shatter his dreams just yet. And thus, everyone remains stuck in their self-made prisons.

The episode ends with Armaan and Abhira both restless in their respective corners, hearts pounding with words unsaid and truths untold.

Precap Insight:

Armaan sneaks into Abhira and Anshuman’s engagement ceremony. Kaveri blesses Anshuman to keep Abhira happy. Abhira senses Armaan’s silent presence. They both hide from each other, desperate yet too broken to take the first step.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th July 2025 Written Update Review:

This episode was an emotional quicksand. Armaan’s noble idiocy is becoming unbearable. If he thinks martyrdom is love, someone needs to gift him a dictionary. Abhira, on the other hand, is trapped in her guilt and confusion, forced to smile while her heart is screaming. Anshuman remains the unsuspecting collateral damage, happily preparing for an engagement with a girl who isn’t even there mentally. Kiara was the unexpected mirror everyone needed today, pointing out truths people are too cowardly to say.

The episode highlights how lack of communication ruins lives more than fate ever can. If only people spoke the truth without the fear of consequences, half of Yeh Rishta’s characters would be living happily ever after by now.
