Anupama 6th July 2025 Written Update: Vasundhara’s Drama, Prem’s Stand, and Anupama’s Savage Moves. Today’s episode served a buffet of drama, tears, savage comebacks, and emotional turmoil. Brace yourselves, because Vasundhara was on her mission to ruin everyone’s day as usual.
The episode kickstarts with Vasundhara going full villain mode by destroying Rahi’s dance academy. She literally crushed Rahi’s dreams under her expensive sandals without flinching. Rahi, with her innocent tears, asks Vasundhara how long she will keep this anger alive. But Vasundhara is too busy plotting her next insult to even blink.
Suddenly, the topic turns towards Pakhi. Vasundhara spits fire, asking Rahi what Pakhi is doing at their house. Pakhi tries explaining, but Vasundhara is in no mood to hear logic. She drags Rahi’s upbringing, manners, care for Khyati, and tantrums into the argument, like a typical daily soap vamp who keeps old registers of everyone’s mistakes. When Rahi tries to save Anuj’s admission form from being thrown, Vasundhara hurls it anyway, proving her degree in pettiness.
Prem finally finds his lost backbone today and stands up for Rahi. Vasundhara shuts him down immediately, warning him not to interfere. But Prem gives an iconic line, saying that someday a husband has to stand for his wife, and today is that day. Slow claps for Prem. Anil too joins the men’s club, defending Meeta’s happiness in dancing, but Vasundhara dismisses it, saying Khyati isn’t happy. Meeta takes a stand for herself and reminds Vasundhara that she too is a daughter-in-law. Prem, Anil, and Raja finally act like supportive husbands, deciding to back their wives’ happiness. Prem then motivates Rahi to focus on her goals and not lose hope.
Meanwhile, Manohar is busy conducting his dance class with Preet and Sarita. Poor Sarita is shivering under his strict guidance, confessing she can’t dance like him. Anupama steps in to lift Sarita’s spirits. Preet adorably asks Anupama if she knows how to dance. Anupama lies, saying she doesn’t, while thinking to herself that she will never return to the stage. We all know, queen, you’re just waiting for the maha episode performance.
Rita enters the scene, and Anupama invites her to join the rehearsals. But just then, Rita’s saasu maa arrives with her typical beta ke liye roti banao lecture. She orders Anupama to send Rita home to cook. Anupama, unbothered as ever, points out that even Sarita is here practicing. Rita’s mother-in-law turns her taunts towards Sarita, sparking a full-blown saas-bahu battle in the rehearsal room.
Prem once again shows he’s the only sane man today by supporting Anupama. But this triggers Rahi’s inner detective. She questions Prem if he’s been meeting Anupama behind her back. Prem honestly admits it, leading to Rahi throwing another tantrum, ordering him to stop all contact with Anupama. Prem tries to advise her to grow up and be mature, but clearly, that ship has sailed.
Elsewhere, the toxic track brews. Ansh and Prarthana are spending sweet, romantic moments together, while Gautam lurks in the shadows like every typical creep in ITV. He decides to defame Prarthana to ruin Parag’s reputation. Gautam cooks up a devilish plan by convincing Vasundhara that Prarthana is pregnant with Ansh’s child. Yes, you heard that right. Daily soaps and their obsession with pregnancy twists are undefeated. Rahi suggests a DNA test to find out the truth, while Gautam confidently says if the test is in his favor, he will keep the baby. The audacity is screaming today. Vasundhara and Rahi stand there, too shocked to process this garbage twist.
In another heart-wrenching scene, Anupama learns about Rita’s trauma. Sarita tells her how Rita’s mother-in-law tortures her daily. She also reveals that Rita’s family follows a saint and observes three fasts a week – clearly fasting has cleansed their stomach but not their toxic mindset. Anupama, tired of seeing women suffer, encourages Rita to speak up. But Rita remains trapped in her blind faith, believing her guru will save her. Anupama, being the queen of solutions, hatches a plan to teach that evil mother-in-law a lesson she will never forget.

Today’s episode was a classic Anupama script – it had a crying daughter-in-law, an evil mother-in-law, a useless pregnancy twist, and one savage Anupama move. Vasundhara deserves the “Drama Queen of the Year” award for ruining every possible scene with her negativity. Prem’s rare display of courage was refreshing, but let’s not get our hopes up for daily doses.
The highlight was Anupama’s fierce stand for Rita and Sarita, proving again why she remains the real backbone of this show. The pregnancy track felt forced, because honestly, every second track is either about an illegitimate child, pregnancy drama, or DNA tests. ITV writers, please diversify your plot bank soon.
Final Verdict
Rating: 3.5/5 – Saved by Anupama’s wit and Prem’s rare bravery. Vasundhara, Gautam, and their regressive mindsets continue to be a pain.
