Anupama 7th July 2025 Written Update: Tricks, Dance Dreams and Drama. Anupama’s Motherly Tricks to be seen today in Anupama episode. Bharti, in her usual melodrama, whines about her leg pain during exercise. Anupama, with her signature calm sarcasm, tells Bharti to ignore the pain and think about Shahrukh Khan. Bharti, confused yet intrigued, asks how that will help. Anupama, in her smooth talker mode, says Shahrukh Khan has danced with her before. Bharti’s eyes pop open like she just heard God’s voice. And just like that, Anupama tricks her into completing the exercise.
Bharti, catching her breath between reps, asks Anupama where she learned these manipulative tricks. Anupama, with her serene smile, says, “I’m a mother.” Period. Honestly, mothers deserve an Oscar for the motivational manipulation they do daily.
Pakhi’s Dance Aspirations
Meanwhile, Pakhi is bubbling with excitement as she tells Leela about participating in the upcoming dance competition. Leela, the ever-practical critic, reminds Pakhi that professionals participate in such competitions. Pakhi, undeterred, says Rahi is training them well.
Leela scoffs, saying Rahi isn’t Anupama. Pakhi tries to nudge Leela into thinking positively, but Leela being Leela, switches topics to Prarthana’s rising AC usage bills. She tells Prarthana to pay increased rent since she’s using the AC. Prarthana, probably tired of fighting, agrees to pay. Leela smirks, thinking how easy it is to keep tenants in line.
But deep down, Leela worries – how will she raise Prarthana’s child without Anupama? Then she shoves the thought aside. Because what if Anupama returns? Better not think and risk softening up.
Manohar Boosts Spirits
Manohar, the motivational uncle of the chawl, gathers the ladies to encourage them for the dance competition. He talks about winning and losing with so much intensity that it felt like they were prepping for a war, not a dance stage. He indirectly taunts Rahi, making Anupama wonder if Rahi will compete against them.
Manohar asks them to decide on a team name. Anupama, in her philosophical glory, suggests “Dancing Ranis” because, as she says, “Every lady is a queen in her own world.” Not gonna lie, this line deserves to be printed on mugs.
Anupama’s Devious Plan
But today, Anupama’s brain was operating on master villain level. To get Rita to join the team, she spreads news that Sarita is possessed by a spirit. Rita and her mother-in-law rush to see the spectacle. Jaspreet, not missing a business opportunity, asks Rita’s mother-in-law to pay up if she wants to consult Sarita.
When Rita’s MIL asks Sarita about her son’s job, Sarita claps back, saying she tortures her daughter-in-law and still dares to dream about a job for her son. That one savage line felt like instant karma being served piping hot. Finally, Sarita convinces Rita’s mother-in-law to let Rita dance. Rita lights up like Diwali on hearing this.
While everyone celebrates this mini victory, Anupama feels guilty for tricking Rita’s MIL using superstition. She tells Jaspreet to return the money they took. Despite her strong front, Anupama’s morality never fails to peek out, and that’s what makes her special.

Tomorrow’s episode promises more drama. Manohar twists his ankle but still encourages Anupama to take charge of the team. Anupama learns that if even one member doesn’t show up, the team will be eliminated. Jaspreet asks her if she’s sure Rita, Sarita, and Deepa won’t ditch at the last minute. Anupama stands there, stunned, probably calculating backup options in her mind already.

Today’s episode was equal parts hilarious and frustrating. Bharti crying about her leg while imagining Shahrukh Khan, Leela worrying about AC bills more than her own blood pressure, and Anupama tricking people using ghost stories – it was all peak chawl comedy.
But what truly stood out was Anupama’s guilt despite the lies she used to empower women around her. It’s a reminder that her manipulations are never selfish; they always carry a bigger purpose.
Rating: 4/5 – For Anupama’s Shahrukh Khan motivation hack, Sarita’s savage mother-in-law roast, and Manohar’s unstoppable optimism.
